We read the great reviews, did our research and thought this would be a good bet both in terms of value and particularly location in Palermo. Please be advised this is a really really old hotel !!! We're a 30 something couple and all for old time charm and character - but this is a period hotel turned creepy, musty... More

On my return from Buenos Aires, I have the most pleasant memories of my stay at Livian Guesthouse for more than a week. Bruno, Lisandra & Staff were able to create a truly homely atmosphere and comfort. I am grateful for their attention, expert advice and assistance in sightseeing and exploring local attractions in Buenos Aires and its surroundings. I... More

This is the second time that we have stayed here (first time was in 2009), and our current stay here was just as enjoyable as the previous one. The staff is very helpful. The hotel is on a quite street, and walking distance to Palermo and the Medrano subte station. There are lots of good places to eat in the... More

We loved this place!! We booked for three nights and decided to stay an extra three after our first night. Its a beautiful period home in a great location with lovely comfy beds and great common areas. Staff were terrific - really helpful at any hour of the day. We have been travelling for a few months in South America... More

My partner and I stayed here for a few nights and had a lovely time. It's charming, has wonderful staff, good breakfast, and an inviting and comfortable common area (great for us as we were working). It's is close to all the action in Palermo and on a quiet street so it's perfect for making the most of the area.... More

My dad and I stayed at Livian Guesthouse in June 2014. We absolutely loved this place! It's a beautiful building, and they have achieved a very homely feel. We extended our stay because we loved it so much. Over all it is very clean, quiet, the room we had was gorgeous (the purple room) and the breakfast was amazing (the... More

The location is convenient (if you're interested in hitting up Palermo a lot) and the French-style house is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was a nice touch (I seriously think they served the best medialunas I've had in the whole city). The staff was super friendly and courteous as well. Not to mention, if you're a cat lover, there are quite... More

We stayed in the Livian Guesthouse the very last days of December and it was fantastic. The location is perfect, in Palermo but not too loud or noisy. The rooms are charming and the breakfast was great. The backyard is great for an afternoon glass of wine. However, the single best thing about the hotel was the staff; Steph made... More

The room was warm, clean and cosy, The breakfast was nice too and if you didn't want to venture out at night on your own they let you order in food. It's in an... More
