the 725 Continental is located right near the Obelisk and the Casa Rosada so it's easy to walk around. Rooms were clean and nice. Breakfast buffet was OK, but enough to get your day started. The restaurant in the lobby actually has really great food. Staff was friendly. Seems like a lot of Air Mexico's staff stays here so you'll... More

I had a wonderful stay here towards the end of November. The rooms are comfortable and big and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a bit limited, but in time I bet that will change. I had a good stay and would stay there again.

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Spacious rooms and in excellent condition. Varied Argentinean Breakfast. Rooftop pool and the bar located there are a plus in the comfort at the place. Highly recommend.

we decided to spoil ourselves before leaving argentina after 22 days trip,in a five star hotel. we choose this hotel because of the location (close for shopping area and metro) and good reviews. we were disappointed by the staff, the breakfast and the room and mostly by the management. for all the nights we spent in argentina we paid cash ,according... Having read some of the previous reviews, we were a bit anxious about staying at this hotel. However, we were very pleasantly surprised. Service could not have been better - all staff were very polite and helpful. We brought the usual selection of adaptor plugs, but none of ours fitted the triangular form here. The hotel let me borrow a... More

The hotel is near all the major attraction in Buenos Aires. Near the subway station, really close to the Calle Florida, Obelisk, 9 de Julio, etc. The staff is friendly and the hotel is really comfortable.

The hotel location couldn't be better. In Microcentro ,just a few blocks from the Obelisk, Florida Avenue, Plaza de Mayo, and the brand new D subway line, you couldn't ask for a more convenient address. The hotel is older but clearly refurbished and modern. Room was very clean, flat screen TV, good internet service, and solid water pressure in the... More

This hotel has a great location (you can walk to San Telmo, Retiro, Puerto Madero and many attractions), very spacious and comfortable rooms and a good breakfast. I've been to Buenos Aires several times and I'd surely stay at this hotel the next time I'm in the city.

Stayed 5 nights here and the hotel and location is very good. Good service at the front desk, but the food and the service for breakfast were both below the standard one expect from a four star hotel. So stay here, but take your breakfast somewhere else. Also, we visited in April - and the pool was closed because it... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
