One good thing was the staff was friendly and helpful until the day we checked out and then the girl didn't know what she was doing and we had to catch the ferry to Montevideo so we left without an invoice for our stay but she said they would email it which never happened. Sure the place is Rustic etc.... More

I stayed at this so-called "hotel" for 2 weeks during the tango festival and mundial 2012 (late august). 1) Location and accessibility: - Definitely not the best part of Buenos Aires. There is nothing to see or do in the hotel immediate vicinity, the streets are dirty, and you will not always feel safe, especially at night. - On the... More

I was a bit dissapointed with this hotel. The rooms were average and not decorated with tango memorabilia as advertised on the website. We had no hot water in our shower. The breakfast was okay. Price was good, area dodgy.

The external pictures of the hotel are a bit misleading as the hotel itself can't be seen from outside - it's upstairs. It's very secure, there is either a staff member at the door or entry system to gain entry. The staff are unfailingly helpful and many speak very good english. They helped with faxes, directions, translation, storage of bags... More

Overall the hotel was ok and the staff very nice. I think it's good value for the price. The hotel was hard to notice from the street and the entrance and hallways very small for big suitcases. The rooms were big, but practically without any soundproofing. We were busy sightseeing during the days, so we had no trouble getting sleep.... More

This hotel was really a gem, we really enjoyed our stay here. A great value for the price. The rooms were reasonably big, and each room has it's own theme which was exciting. They also have a tango lesson/dinner/show which is fantastic. There's so many of those things in Buenos Aires, but it was convenient to have it in the... More
