Colorful rooms (sadly not all with air conditionned) in a very peculiar place (an old little factory) with genuine iron stairs. Very helpful staff (including a tortoise living in the small patio).

The pictures presented on atrapalo and the hotel's own website depict a boutique-type hotel with shabby chic charm... however, in reality it is a rat hole! Apart from not being clean, there is no temperture control and the night staff plays music that you can hear in all the rooms during the entire night. The breakfast included left much to... More

The hotel is a nice place, looks like ur own home. The service is great, i'd low the price a little bit but everything was great, the food is delicious and u feel like home.

We stayed in a room directly above the reception area and literally every noise could be heard in the room as if people were speaking within the room. This wasn´t just during the day (which was surprisingly the quietest time) but throughout the night. The staff kept the front door locked so each time someone wanted to enter the building... More

Great location but not a great hotel. Rooms were small and shabby, although clean. The bathroom was so timy that I couldn't place anything (not even a glass) on the sink. The place reminded me of a rehabbed warehouse. It was very noisy at night because, in your room, you could hear people talking in the lobby. Its good points:... More

We arrived in blistering heat, got put in a room at the front of the hotel with NO air con but a small clapped out fan! The noise was beyond belief and room was small. We asked for a twin but got a double! Next day we moved to room on the ground floor on the patio. SO much better,... More

Located in very trendy relaxed and chilled Palmera. A lot less sweaty, or touristy and not far from town. Every local bar and restaurant was a delight, and the staff were helpful, efficient, relaxed and helpful. the place its self was clean and cool, an excellant base to explore. Internet access, relaxed lounging area, mix of travellers and tourists, small... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
