The only thing good about this place is that it's super cheap. If you just need somewhere to sleep (or try to sleep) and you don't care about anything else, then you should stay here. The location is alright, but that's about it. They only give breakfast to the VIP guests, but don't worry- you aren't missing much. The water... More

I had booked this hostel through an online booking site, but it turned to be the biggest mistake of my whole trip. There where the location of the hostel is good (in the center and close to the metro) The rooms are dirty and clearly not cleaned on a daily basis. The mattreses are worn out and make that I... Unpleasant, dirty, no upkeed, no room service, no blankets or towells included on cost, no cleaning service on Sundays! They're abusively unfair in their website, where they say they offer a "preferential" service: neither description nor pics match the real place. Absolutely disadvantageous and uncomfortable. Despite it's cheap you'll find better choices for similar $$.

I've been in this hostel for over a week. The good points: It is at a great location, really near to 2 subte lines, and buslines practically in front of the door. The staff is really nice and helpfull, speak well english. downstairs there's a tv room and a kitchen you can use. The bad points: Don't go there if... More

I've never been to a worse hostel than La Rocca. If you want a dirty place, dirty rooms and dirty kitchen, you should visit La Rocca. The staff really rude, they were drinking and smoking all day long and didn't care about the guests' needs. I had the chance to communicate my disatisfaction to the owner of the place: he... More

I stayed at La Rocca in downtown (I think they have another one in Palermo as well) while I was still looking for an apartment. I ended up staying almost a month and it was perfect. It had everything I could have asked for- right in front of the Callao Subte station, and a few steps away from my favorite... More

My stay at La Rocca was awesome - I met loads of travelers from around the world including heaps from South America which was helpful for practicing a bit of the old espanol - the location was brilliant, staff were nice enough and the rates were really cheap - highly recommend!

I was there for a couple of months. Firstly, the management really dont care about the majority of the clients. Secondly, it is very unsafe. I had some random male enter my dorm one night much to the shock of my bunk mate. This is the same night 3 other rooms got robbed. Turned out the same key opened about... More
