I had a wonderful experience during my four night stay. The location in Recoleta is lovely and close to great restaurants, entertainment, and points of interest. The guest rooms are spacious and well-maintained and the living room is cozy. The fact that there’s only four rooms makes for a much more personal experience than you would find elsewhere—although traveling solo,... more

I had actually booked with Yira Yira after reading all the positive comments here on trip adivsor but I was quite disappointed. When we arrived Paz was nice and welcoming but we were a little surprised to learn that there was only one shower for all the guests, the bedroom doors do not have locks on them, we did not... more

We stayed at Yira Yira for 5 nights in total (3 at the start of our trip and 2 at the end) and it is a great centrally located place to stay and excellent value for money. Paz is the owner and she has 4 rooms and is a great host. She is so friendly and helpful, always willing to... more

Stayed here during low season back in Aug 09, so we had plenty of opportunities interacting with Paz, the owner. We were her only guests. She was kind enough to show us where to go, and even accompanied us taking pictures one night. She served amazing "pan" and various jellys during breakfast (although I don't think breakfast really is included... more

I agree with the comments on how gracious Paz - the proprietor of Yira Yira GH - is. She provided sensible advice and know-how for visiting BA. The guesthouse has a cozy common area with comfy couches, access to a small interio/courtyard patio - and there is free internet access. Paz has four rooms: one for a single, 2 rooms... more

Paz, the hostess of Yira Yira is FANTASTIC especially for those who have limited Spanish skills!! My partner and I decided to stay with Paz after reading the reviews on here and it was the best thing that we could have done! Paz's hostel is beautiful and she really goes out of her way to make you feel like it's... more

Paz is truly a special hostess. She is so kind-hearted, easy to talk to, and truly wants her guests to be happy and enjoy the beautiful city. All of her recommendations were perfect. My girlfriend and I came without much of a plan and we can barely speak Spanish, but Paz speaks great English and willingly helped and guided us... more

Staying at Yira Yira was the perfect start to my travels in Argentina and I highly recommend this guesthouse to travellers who are looking for somewhere to stay in Buenos Aires. I booked by email the week before I arrived and got an instant reply from Paz, making it simple to organize. Location is great, very central. I found that... more

I stayed here for 4 nights on the solo leg of my Argentina trip - the interior is very charmingly decorated with a pleasing mix of antique and modern - including the original doors, entrance, balconies, etc. from the original residence. Paz, your host, is very helpful in finding out about the city, navigating, or just sharing a bit of... more

Wonderful location, beautiful house, best hostess in Buenos Aires. We arrived with not much of a plan in a huge city. Paz, the owner, made us feel right at home- whether it was navigating the massive expanse of Buenos Aires, reserving bus tickets for our next destination, or helping us find the best choripan in the city. Her perfect english... more
