Stayed here for a night in March. The location is perfect if you want to stay downtown (however, I'd recommend staying in Palermo and getting the subway) The place is a bit shabby as it's located in a very old traditional building in BA - however, the location and friendlyness of the staff more than make up for that.
If you're on a budget and you're not too picky, this is for you. It's located in a quite central area close to Puerto Madero, calle Florida and many shopping areas, within walking distance from nearly everything you might need (restaurants, cinema, shopping, supermarkets). It's quite far from Palermo's nightlife, though.
The hostel is not too clean, not too well...

Perfect location (10 minutes to the port and 15 to the beach by walking) and you're right in the center of the Gothic District (hip area for shopping and dining selection). 15 minute walk to the center...

Staff treated me awesome. I felt like living a hostel life in a hotel. Definately the best hostel in BA... by far!!!!!!!!!
Very nice hostel, with superb staff, alway willing to help and with really good advises with tours and activities to do in the area. Really good value, and close to the centre of the city, 2 blocks from the Obelisco.
