I've had the pleasure of staying at Jacaranda a number of times over three years of traveling to Buenos Aires, and I can't imagine a more gracious hostess than Lilian. The location is wonderful, on a bustling but not too noisy street in Palermo, right around the corner from terrific shops, restaurants and bars. I've been fortunate to stay in... More

I am just back from Buenos Aires where I rented 2 studios flat from Lilian.. All was perfect, from the welcoming to the flats.. Also, this area of Palermo is quite entertaining and full of great restaurants. I highly recommend customers to stay here.

Jacaranda studio and suite is situated in a wonderful and lively area called Palermo Soho. The neighbourhood is great, with a variety of restaurants, café’s, bars and galleries to choose from. The place is cheap good and really good value for money. One nice feature of Jacaranda is the complimentary breakfast at El Francis, a lovely French restaurant just around... More

After reading the amazing reviews, we expected a lot more. On the plus side, Lilian is great and spends a lot of time telling you what to do and where to go in Buenos Aires. She also gives great restaurant tips and shopping tips and will arrange airport transfers for you. We also met Carlos Ramirez, who is an absolute... More

Dear Sarisha, I´m very sorry that your stay was so unhappy, even more because it was your birthday! I work for our guest’s happiness, so your review is very important to me. I think one of the main reasons of your unconfort is that you stayed at the Studio, our smallest room, and quite tiny for a couple. When we... More

We were looking to stay in Palermo for the food and shopping. Jacaranda was perfect for this. Lilian was extremely helpful with everything, from explaining the local currency quirks to booking ticket for the polo for us. I must note that Buenos Aires is a huge city, so if you stay in Palermo you will need to take cabs to... More

Lilian was a fabulous host. She helped us at every turn, providing great information about restaurants, shops and sites in the city. She also arranged airport transfers with her wonderful driver. The apartments were perfect for our group. We rented two apartments for a group of 6. We were extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was as described lively and full of... More

We discovered Jacaranda and Lilián on an early trip and have stayed there whenever we are in BsAs. The accommodations and the location are central to Palermo SoHo and its restaurants and shops. It is also a good point of departure to explore other parts of BsAs. We have stayed in all three rooms at one time or another, each... More

I had come to study Spanish in Buenos Aires for 9 months and I arrived in Buenos Aires, exhausted, after over 20 hours of travel with my cat. “Hada madrina” is the phrase for “fairy godmother,” which describes Lilián, the hostess of Jacaranda Studios. Attentive, organized, efficient, and kind are the words that come to mind. She saw to it... More

Lilian was a wonderful host. She gave us great recommendations and advice for touring Buenos Aires. The suite itself was a good size for two people, and could even fit another person since there is a separate sitting room. My parents stayed in the downstairs studio, which had a really nice courtyard looking into the adjacent art gallery. The location... More

I was happy to have chosen La Jacaranda as a starting point of my Argentinian trip. Being a first timer in argentina faced with the unknown, this place is a godsend. Reservation was done by email and the proprietor was very responsive to any questions I have. I had booked for an airport transfer as I traveled in a very... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
