The rooms were ok. The location was nice, the AC worked ok and it was clean. We came in the morning and got a key card to our room and someone was already sleeping in it! We did get a bigger room, but I wouldn´t be that happy, if I was in a room and someone would walk in while... More

Good value for the money. Nice and clean B&B with a great location in Palermo. Bright, simple rooms with a good bed. Lots of shopping, bars and restaurant in the neighborhood. The staff are really nice and helpful.

Great location, lovely owners/managers, clean rooms. However, the rooms are very basic and could do with some nice touches ie. fix the broken lights, remove the stains in the bathroom, give some coat hangers in the cupboard and the breakfast could include some fruit.

Good location, even though a tad bit difficult to find. Very friendly, clean, good quality common rooms and kitchen. It is a bit off centre but very good for going out, nice neighborhood. Owners friendly and flexible!

Didn't get the great honour of staying even one night at this place as they basically threw me out. I had made a reservation the day before, then when I arrive there (after a 12 hour overnight bus trip from Paraguay) they tell me they have cancelled my booking and sent me an email already with that information. As I... More

Overall, this was a fantastic hotel. The person who cleans the room is absolutely fantastic. The location is good (although it is close to the street so you hear traffic all night long so bring earplugs). Breakfast was simple, but quite good. The only complaint is that even though we paid when we arrived, Martin forgot we paid and accused... More

Hi ctd1978, first of all thanks for writing. I'm sorry about the problem you had with martin at the hotel, he is not a permanent employee, and helps out hopping from one hotel to the other. Due to your letter I've spoken to him about this and he admitted he was very much in a rush and impatient that day,... More

This was the second place we stayed in Buenos Aires, and definitely the better of the two. If you're looking for a more adult, quiet place in a location with plenty of options close by, this is it. Most of the other people staying there were couples, so we fit right in. It's a good 10-minute walk from the train... More

BA Soho Rooms was the first hostel we stayed in on a 7 week journey, and when I think back and compare it to other places it is pretty average, but at the time we really were not impressed and ended up leaving after one night. When we first arrived the owner was very helpful and sat us down in... More

I stayed here with my husband and a friend for 4 nights. There are two properties and we stayed in the 5004 Cabrera one, so can't comment for the other. We paid $25 US each for a private ensuite triple, TV and air con, which is really good value for buenos aires. Location is perfect, we expected the center of... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
