We needed to stay in B.A. 2 nights before leaving on a cruise. My husband chose this hotel because it had 4 stars on Expedia and was inexpensive. This hotel is close to nothing except some local shopping. Even the restaurants the staff recommended required a taxi ride. The room was small and so close to the street I felt... More

I spend the worst hotel stay in Cahuel, because I was not able to cancel the pre paid reservation. The staff was not friendly, not unfriendly, but careless and slow. The hotel was noisy really. All the voices from neighbouring rooms were resounding around the building. There were not a simpliest sound proofing. Rooms were worn out and all there... More

The Cahuel was recommended to me by an Argentine agency who didn't follow through with my reservation. However, Marcelo (one of the brother-owners) was more than friendly in helping arrange a good deal for my stay when I called the hotel directly. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is included. The atmosphere is... More

We stayed here for four nights in the beginning of our trip. The location is good enough - we knew it was not in the heart of Palermo but it's not too long a walk, anyway. The immediate neighbourhood looks best on Tuesday - after the weekly clean of the nearby streets :) otherwise is a bit shabby area but... More

The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice bathrooms. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Good location and secure. My only issue is with the noise. The design of the hotel amplifies and carries voices- we stayed in 2 different rooms in the front and back (dining room noise) and it was the same in both.

We were originally scheduled to stay here for two days and then were going to find something else closer to all the tourist attractions. However, we extended our stay for the full 7 days that we're in Buenos Aires to photograph a wedding. It's true it's a bit further out, but the most expensive taxi ride we've taken so far... More

Boutique hotel, excellent service, very clean and comfortable. Perhaps because it's outside Palermo Soho the price is much better than the lovely boutique hotels (which are a step up in luxury but 2 steps up in price) in Palermo Soho or Palermo Hollywood. Breakfast included with fresh OJ and fresh fruit salad and real cafe con leche (no full restaurant)

We had a brilliant stay at this hotel. Stayed 6 nights. It is an oasis of calm in a busy city. It is well located in Palermo Viejo with easy access to buses and subte. The patio/ garden is a gem. It is an extremely safe hotel to stay in. Would definitely go back there. There was nothing to fault.... More

My boyfriend and I spent a few days in this hotel in February 2009 and can highly recommend it. Comfortable, clean, air-conditioning and quiet. There's also a lovely sun deck for chilling after a day pounding the city's streets. It's within 10 minutes of Palermo Viejo and Abasto in the other direction. There is Internet access and a lovely lounge... More

Nice boutique hotel near Palermo Vieja. My wife and I stayed here for four days. Friendly staff and nice room. Breakfast was standard Argentinan fare including coffee, tea, croissants, toast, ham and cheese. We stayed in room 12 and it was clean and comfortable. The room had a flat screen TV, nice bed and bathroom and a small refrigerator. Hotel... More
