When you first saw the place you think it was a mistake but is a very good place, I dont regret anyway, the location is excellent, big and beautiful room and near to good restaurants, cafes, bars, supermarkets, subway, shops and everything else. If I need go back in BA again I definitely would think in staying there again. The... More

I was a member of a group of 8 men on a recent bird hunting trip to Argentina. Upon arrival in the country, we spent the first 2 nights in Buenos Aires. We chose to stay at the Callao Suites due to it's location near the Recolleta District and the price. Since none of us were travelling with wives or... More

We spent 3 nights in the Callao Suites after a 2 weeks cruise in South America . We selected this apart/hotel because of its location and its price and we were quite happy with our choice . The building is two blocks away from the Callao metro (Subte) station (green line) and from there we were 15 minutes away from... More

Excellent location and nice staff. You can leave your baggage on the first floor if you arrive before the check in, as well you can leave after the check out. The only thing I did not like was the reason you need to wait 30 minutes to use hot water in the shower. So if you are with more than... More

Very central location, easy to get anywhere. Nice hotel, large private rooms, and having a kitchen corner was a bonus - not that you need a kitchen, there are plenty of restaurants nearby! Staff very helpful, went out of their way to make sure we enjoy our stay in Bs. As.

My husband and I stayed in a suite in this building for about 3 days. The flat itself is very spacious and provides some autonomy, since we had a kitchen inside, a good size bathroom and lots of table space all around. Our window was faced to Callao Avenue so we could appreciate the city dynamics while there. I recommend... More

From the entrance it really seems you made a mistake booking this place, but the studio apartments are nice and cozy, with heater and AC, table and chairs, mini kitchen. The position is quite good. I stayed for a week during a conference. Recommended.

Read “The oddities of renting an "apartment" not hotel room....” for our arrival and overall impressions too. But we didn't have to go to the office as had paid and booked online some months before. The other daytime staff on the "front desk" were friendly and helpful, location suited us for where we needed to be, and was still convenient... More

The appartment was big, and well-equipped. The location is great. I arrived late and arrival was a bit strange as there is only a security guard and he seems to have nothing to do with the appartments and he handed me a one page rental contract in small-print Spanish which I was told to sign! The next day I received... More

I stayed here for just 2 nights with friends. It was my first time but not for my friends. It's certainly a great option to stay if you are looking for a safe and nice location. It's close to a very popular and crowded commercial zone where you can find everything you need. The rooms are spacious and well maintained.... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
