Room reminded me of an airplane cabin. The Bathroom reminded me of an airplane bath. Super tiny rooms. TV was not LCD flatscreen but oldschool CRT type. Breakfast was average. Staff was cute and helpful, but I have to say that was the best part. The rooms are bright and loud and the location is not great. For the money... more

I only stayed at Vain for one night while passing through Buenos Aires, but I enjoyed my time there tremendously. The staff was incredibly helpful, with local recommendations, transportation arrangements, etc. The hotel has all the advantages of staying in a nice up-to-date hotel (central AC-heat, free internet in the rooms, nice TVs), in a very hip and fun neighborhood,... more

I stayed at the Vain for a week during a business trip to Buenos Aires. The office I was visiting was in the Palermo neighborhood so the hotel's location was ideal. I didn't spend much time at the hotel but the time I spent there was enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was outstanding and the rooms... more

It's the first time I've travelled on my own and was initially unsure where to stay in such a busy city. I am extremely pleased that I chose the VAIN hotel. It is situated in a very safe neighbourhood with many restaurants in the area. Surprisingly for a large city there are also numerous parks and gardens in which to... more

I spent 5 glorious nights at the stunning Vain hotel and cant recommend it highly enough. Often boutique hotels look great but fall short on service , at Vain this is not the case with everyone from the front desk to house keeping a joy to deal with. I stayed in the V senior room and found it very hard... more

My boyfriend and I spent a total of seven nights in three different boutique hotels in the Palermo area. While all of them were great experiences, Vain was the most quiet and intimate of them all. The hotel is close to the subway and a short walk from the heart of Palermo Soho, where all the bars, resturants, and shops... more

My husband and I stayed here last year for one night. We really enjoyed the quirkiness that the hotel had to offer. The area for breakfast is very cute and there is always a lot of light pouring in during your morning coffee. I loved the little courtyard and roof top terrace that allowed you to get some fresh air.... more

The Vain is a delightful small boutique hotel at an ideal location in Palermo section of Buenos Aires. The rooms are extremely modern, very well maintained, with wonderful fresh, soft linen daily. They prepare a custom-made breakfast (included) which is extraordinary. The second floor has a delightful lounge with both a desk-top computer available to all the guests. Also, a... more

Simply put, I thought the Vain Hotel was excellent and loved staying there. After a negative experience at a "boutique hotel" nearby (there seem to be a lot of these and are often more like glorified hostels), I did some research online and walked over to the hotel. The employee at the front desk was very friendly, he was able... more
