We arrived in the morning for a three night stay after a cruise, as did 4 or 5 other couples. The check-in staff seemed overwhelmed by this crowd. Perhaps checking in foreigners requires more time and paperwork than checking in nationals. The location can't be better, right in the center of BA, close to the Plaza de Mayo and Florida (pedestrian shopping street). On the corner of Peru and the hotel street is a nice local restaurant with argentina food.
