I spent a night un this hotel ideally located. Staff was very friendly since the beginning. Rooms are a bit small but very modern and well furnished. The breakfast is very complete as usual with NH. You can walk from there to Puerto Madero and have a nice dinner at the docks.

Bright, modern, well appointed room. Good location. Excellent breakfast included. Welcoming lobby, lounge and bar. Maid service was unreliable. Had to request towels 3 of the 8 days we were there. Glasses were left dirt one day and one was missing another day. Front desk staff very helpful. Good restaurants very nearby. Would stay there again.

Checked in to this well located hotel and after up grading our room to a larger room had a lovely stay. especially enjoyed talking to Guido at the front desk. The things that I liked about this hotel were its location, the extremely friendly staff, the beautifully made bed with crisp sheets each morning, and the really wonderful breakfast that was served downstairs each morning, and which, I believe, is included in the cost of the room. What I did not like about this hotel is that it is slightly... More

This hotel is an excellent one to stay in Buenos Aires. It is located centrally in the city and this city is big. Public transport and taxis are readily available and close by. There's interesting streets, shopping, restaurants, etc in all directions from the hotel. The hotel itself has excellent understated service by all staff whom I encountered. My room... More

Stayed for 4 nights and found the rooms small bathroom is extremely small and the carpets Filthy. The room also needs some TLC as all furniture is old and chipped. Bed was comfortable and staff very helpful and friendly but I would never recommend anyone I know to stay here. Even the so called Junior suites which I looked at... More

The location of the hotel is good, not far from Florida Street and many tourist attractions can be reached on foot. The breakfast was very good with lovely views to enjoy while you are eating. Our room was small for what I expected of a superior room but it was clean. There was free wifi and it worked well. You... More

Hotel located on Santa Fe st. Just few blocks from Florida st. Subway station just 10m from hotel entrance. Some restaurants located around hotel. Overall feelings for my stay is ok. Just couple of cons: - I have asked for ICE two times via reception and nobody brings me it. If you want something you need to be more perseverance.... More

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
