Staying in this boutique hotel for 5 nights was a very special experience in terms of the staff, the hotel’s design, and the location. I am planning to return to Buenos Aires and this will be the place for me. Let’s start with the location. The neighborhood is located in a very central place. It is safe and has the... more

Casa Las Canitas is a charming, modern, warm, lovely place in a great neighborhood. I had the cheapest room ("basic"), which was roomy enough, clean, modern, and pleasantly and tastefully decorated. The common areas of the hotel are welcoming, and are charming in an understated way. There is a lovely garden behind this small hotel (just 9 rooms). The staff... more

We have spent our two last nights of our three month trip through South America in this friendly Boutique hotel. We really enjoyed the friendly service and the nice details. All we had to do was relax. Just one block from the cosy street, with restaurants and bars and about two blocks from the subway station. The Asado in the... more

Monica and the staff at Casa Las Canitas were terrific and I would recommend this little hotel to anyone visiting Buenos Aires. It was convenient to the fun Canitas and Palermo neighborhoods and many more by foot, or a short walk to the Subte trains. Our room was nicely finished, neat and clean upon arrival, as was the whole hotel.... more

I stayed at Casa Las Canitas recently and was very happy with the hotel (intimate), staff (very helpful), breakfasts (eggs on demand, nice fresh OJ), and overall value. Rooms are clean and the bathrooms are well-appointed too, there is a beautiful garden/private backyard terrasse/patio and an outdoor hot tub. The location is a few blocks away from a nice leafy... more

This is a small boutique hotel located in the Canitas section of Buenos Aires, right next to Palermo. I stayed here in October, 2007, so it was a repeat visit. This is the best place I have stayed in Buenos Aires, and the stay met and exceeded my expectations. The hotel appeared to be further upgraded from the last stay,... more

We stayed in room 9, which with its private terrace is without doubt the best room in the hotel. The only down side to the hotel is that due to its small size there was no way of putting a lift into the building, so the stairs have to be used - luggage is 'lugged' up and down by the... more

My husband and I stayed at Casa Las Canitas for 4 nights and had a perfect stay. The staff were incredibly cordial and helpful. We stayed in room #9 that has private access to the rooftop, that was perfect. I highly recommend this room. I thought it was enough space for 2 people but can't comment on the other rooms.... more

While not as stylish as Bobo or as charming as Malabia, Las Cañitas is an excellent, compact boutique hotel in a superb location. The staff are amiable and informative. This is a great alternative to Palermo hotels and ideal if you are stopping over on internal flights through Aeroparque Airport, only a 15/20 peso taxi ride away. The Las Cañitas... more
