They say there's no place like home. And that's true, except for B.A Stop. I had a job opportunity in Capital Federal, and literally lived in B.A Stop for 2 months. It really felt like home: the staff, the comfort, the guests...sometimes it was almost better than home, because of all of the fun ;) And by fun, i mean... More

B.A. stop is located perfectly, in right in the middle of microcentral, and has a welcoming atmosphere that can suit many different types of travelers. The rooms were clean and I was able to use the kitchen whenever I needed it. There are private rooms, but I always stayed in dorms and I met tons of great people from all... More

I stayed 3 times, 1st was 6 mths, 2nd 5 & 3rd 3.5. The place is warm & inviting, intimate & cosy. Reception staff are so friendly & attentive. Housekeeping staff are exceptionally clean, attentive, chatty & friendly. They served continental breakfast, warm brown roll & medialuna, cereal, tea, coffee, juice, fruit, a great time meeting so many travellers. Separate... More

The building is in a great location and the rooms are very clean and spacious. The breakfast is good and the wifi strong... but sadly our stay was marred by a string of things going wrong and terrible customer service. Eventually these errors were sorted, but it completely ruined our stay and so sadly I cannot recommend the place or... More

Pros: location is good for the microcentre. Right by the obulisca and Eva Peron building, also 1 min walk to the central bus stop strip and 10min walk to the touristy Florida st. Cool backpacker atmosphere with a common room, super helpful female staff (the best ive met so far). Cons: a bit pricey for backpackers, but thats Argentina I... More

The staff at BA hostel were amazing. Even though I didn't stay there, they were willing to help me with my trip. They even managed to get tickets incredible tickets to a sold out boca juniors game. Everything about the hostel was excellent, and the staff were absolutely amazing.

I have stayed here three times in the last 5 years so feel able to give an unbiased opinion. The staff are multi-lingual, the location VERY central an you even get a light breakfast thrown in too. The are two free Internet computers, WI-Fi, a kitchen and dormortories and, upstairs, double bedrooms and a social area/plaza for chatting. There is... More

BA Stop Hostel is a super friendly hostel, I found it easy to make friends and explore the city there. It is perfectly located by Avenida 9 de Julio and Avenida de Mayo so I was able to walk to all the main landmarks. I also reserved a tango show at Cafe de los Angelitos through the hostel and it... Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
