We stayed two nights here and were pleasently surprised with how good the hotel was. It does not look much from the outside but inside (over six floors), it is ok. Our room was large and at the back - which I think meant we did not hear the street noise other reviewers have commented upon. The bathroom was ok... more

VERY convenient location, right in the middle of Microcentro, max. 5mins walk to Av. Florida, Av. 9. Julio, Obelisco and Av. Corrientes. A bit further but still abt. 15-20mins walk to get to Recoleta or San Telmo. Should you go any further (Boca, Palermo) just step outside and get one of a million very cheap taxis. I'd say the neighborhood... more

I stayed several times in Hotel Reconquista Garden while participating in groups tours in and out of Buenos Aires. The staff were super folks, eager and quick to assist with any need. Location is central to 9 Julio Avenue, Puerto Madero (side trip to Uruguay), near the domestic airport (flight to Calefate), a few blocks away from Florida Street and... more

Located in the heart of Buenos Aires, this hotel was in walking distance of most attractions. The rooms were above average and the service was just ok. Breakfast wasn't too tasty either. I would recommend this hotel however for the location. It was in walking distance of all the late night shopping areas. Recoleta wasn't too far off either. more

I stayed there at the end of Feb. where the temps were about 90 and humid. The A/C was difficult to work, and only got cold after a few hours. The breakfast had a good variety and the staff was pleasant. The room was wired for internet, so I was able to use my portable wireless router. The location was... more

We'd stayed in this hotel for five days. This is a very nice, well maintained and clean hotel at a great location: two blocks away from El Obelisco and Florida shopping street. Very polite and helpful staffs. Reservation made through the Expedia.com is much cheaper. more

We stayed a total of 4 nights on three different trips through Buenos Aires as part of an OAT trip in November and Deceber 2007. Nice rooms, good air conditioning, clean, relatively quiet. Nice breakfast including hot food- internet available in the lobby. more

Clean, quiet, comfortable and very reasonable rates allow any traveler staying at Reconquista Garden hotel to spend the money they save on either merchandise from the multitude of shops at the nearby pedestrian streets of Florida and LaValle or alternatively tipping the very friendly employees of the establishment. Faced with the fact that the Argentinian economy has to ride the... more
