We, a group of 6 adults, stayed here twice (3 rooms, 3 Nights + 1Night) in late Feb 2014. On arrival our host Ariel was waiting for us. After a quick tour and info of how things worked we asked where on Sunday we could change currency. The local money changer's Kiosk is just around the corner but being Sunday... More

Our flight out of Buenos Aires was cancelled and we found Viejo as a last-minute accommodation. Ariel was wonderful. He came back to check us in. As our flight was scheduled early the next morning and it was too late to let his helpers know to come early to get breakfast for us, he left us some food, milk, yogurt,... More

I probably don't have to write any more because my return for yet another year speaks for itself. I feel very at home here and Ariel, the owner, continues to be as warm and friendly as ever. He is always helpful. His guests are from all over the world which makes for very interesting conversation if you so desire. You... More

Our room was small, clean, and very basic. Our room was lacking in drawers and places to unpack and store clothes, etc. The outside courtyard is very narrow and small, and not really functional as a common space to enjoy or mingle with guest. Not much airflow or light. The interior common space is part office and part breakfast table,... More

We are very sorry it wasn't the expected experience. That week was the hottest week in 100 years and as it is well known Buenos Aires has suffered long electricity blackouts as well. The reception/breakfast area is public and not everybody likes air conditioning. We have floor fans that are always directed to the breakfast tables. We apologize if one... More

Great Location near lots of restaurants and parks. Ariel has great recommendations for what to do around BA and Palermo. The rest of the staff was great too and there was a nice breakfast each morning. Really liked the style of the rooms and the artwork. All of the rooms open onto a small, charming courtyard. Definitely would recommend.

I stayed here on the recommendation of my sister who had stayed before a few years ago. It was a great choice. The location is great, in the heart if one of BA's most I ticking neighbourhoods, Palermo Viejo. This puts you close to some if the city's best food and drink options. There are a couple of metro stations nearby for... More

My friend and I stayed there recently. The location is terrific - near lots of restaurants and markets and on the edge of Palermo. It's also a short walk to buses and the Subte. Ariel and his staff are very welcoming and attentive. The rooms are very clean and quiet, there's plenty of hot water, and the furnishings are very... More

We have now stayed twice here (April 2013 and November 2013) for a week at a time, and will come back to stay whenever we come to BA. Host and owner Ariel has created a very comfortable and warm atmosphere for a home away from home while traveling. The room is very comfortable and the breakfast is great. Ariel has... More

This “home away from home” is a 10 out of 10. Intriguing neighborhood, fresh and comfortable accommodation and guaranteed camaraderie with your Host and fellow guests.
