My wife and I stayed at Palermo Viejo for ten consecutive nights May 2015, when we were in BA to visit our son. So, as you can imagine, we got to know the place pretty well. We can provide an unconditionally positive recommendation. What we needed on our visit was a comfortable, centrally-located base, a place that we could securely... More

This part of Palermo, at least for me, is one most magical areas of the capital to "get lost" into the air of this amazing city. Palermo Viejo B&B feels like home in the middle of this area... this feeling comes from the dedicated attention of its owner -Ariel-, that starts taking care of you from the moment you made... More

Behind a graffiti facade we didn't imagine we would find a quiet place with a small but beautiful garden. We had seen pictures on the web, but was better once we got there. All the rooms are facing this garden and no matter how many rooms were booked, the place is quiet and pleasent. Rooms are ok, with very high... More

Was very happy with this place. It was part of our honeymoon and Ariel took good care of us. The one double / loft room is beautiful. Breakfast is normal for argentina - but quite good with eggs and other hot things.

A nice, clean, quiet bed and breakfast. Provided a good breakfast of eggs, bread, fruit, yogurt, juice, cereal, milk, coffee, tea. Safe neighborhood. The owner was extremely helpful with recommendations and giving directions - made our visit go very smoothly!

I love Buenos Aires and have always looked forward to my stay at Palermo Viejo B&B. I travel from New York, where I live, and the fact that I just returned from my 6th visit to this wonderful B&B says it all! Breakfast is at a communal table so I get to meet the other guests who are from many... More

Had a wonderful time here. The room we stayed in was clean and airy. Breakfast in the morning was tasty with eggs, fruit and breads. The owner was very helpful to help with transportation to where we wanted to go and helped book a tango. Nice area to walk around and shop.

So glad we found this little gem. The neighborhood is amazing, with a lot of stuff to do and very safe. The B&B is simple but with a touch. We found in the owner a friend and a good advisor for anything we wanted to do. We had the best breakfast served in this kind of lodging in all our... More

This b&b is centrally located in Palermo Soho, with lots of great places to eat and drink just round the corner, also good shopping. The metro is a 15 min walk away, but buses are many and frequent. The breakfasts are always very good, the room is cleaned well and every day. What really makes the place is Ariel, it's... More

Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
