Very good Hostel! Really enjoyed my stay there.. Clean, nice rooms, kind staff and great location! I was there in December, 2010... Summer.. they have a Rooftop Bar.. Really nice to relax by the night!

Unfortunately the only good thing about this hostel is its location. Don't expect anything else. Bathroom was filthy, room was filthy too, unhelpful staff. I only recommend if you look for a cheap place with great location in Buenos. Hostel very close to subway and all city's attractions.

Nice staff. Very good location, it's really ju in the center, close to everything. It was a very social hostel. But the beds were very bad and the breakfast was boring. But very good for the price and I loved this hostel.

This Hostel is amazing! The structure divided in floors is beautiful and trendy, rooms are nice (linens just a bit thin) with air conditioning. Many free activities proposed through the week. We stayed in a private room on the 4th floor. The room itself was lovely. The hostel is an old colonial town house and it's decked out really nicely. Our room had a small balcony, private bathroom and tv. It says it's a hostel and hotel and I think it's because it offers some premium rooms as well as dorms.... More

I have stayed in Portal del Sur two times and it was a great experience. The location is excellent, near from some subway stations and from a lot of interesting places on the BsAs city centre. The hostel has a lot of free activities to the guests. The staff is lovely!

I had the pleasure to stay in this hostel a couple of times: great position in the heart of the city; very nice young people; good breakfast; room with air conditioning; and most of all, great price for this place. I would definitely go here again.
