Whilst this is only a small B&B which is not in the main tourist central part of BA, its a fab venue for doing what you need to do. The area its in is really nice and seems very safe. My girlfriend and I stayed at this B&B in late 2006 and found it good but not great. Pluses: -close to good restaurants -AC in room -staff willing to make recommendations and arrange tours -clean -free internet available Minuses: -room didn't have hot water and it took 28 hours to fix -room didn't have alarm clock or radio -nice courtyard... more
Traveling alone when I stayed here, I took a chance by staying in an area that isn't as popular with tourists, and I didn't regret it. The neighborhood is wonderful! Las Canitas is close to shops, markets, and many, many great restaurants, and still feels safe for a woman alone. The guys who run this place are all very nice... more
