Less than three minutes after checking into The Cocker, we both said to each other "This is perfect. It's like a customized place in Buenos Aires just for me." And that was just the beginning. One of the most stellar travel experiences we have ever had. The building is interesting and unique. It's your own modern comfortable home in the... more

I didn't really read all the reviews here prior to reserving my room. I wish that I had. This hotel has been talked about/featured in a positive way numerous times - Travel and Leisure magazine...Conde Nast - I didn't feel that research was necessary. I don't get all the hype. It's located in the San Telmo neighborhood which is an... more

We just got back from our stay with the Cocker and I will say that most of the comments you find here is correct. We have a wonderful stay, loved the hotel and will recommend it. However, this hotel does has its short comings. I think the pictures makes people have really high expectation. Please keep in mind that you... more

There were so many great reviews for the place... maybe that got expectations to high. The hostess of the place and the entire staff were amazing, so that should be said first. Super nice, super friendly. The public spaces were also nice, though the spiral staircase to get to the rooms was harrowing. But the rooms were just so-so: there... more

The Cocker has received considerable good press as a hot hotel, and even appears in the most recent Travel+Leisure Best Hotels of 2009 book. The Cocker is an interesting place to stay, and might be the very spot for your next trip to Buenos Aires. It is important to set expectations, however, for a prospective guest to enjoy The Cocker.... more

I stayed at The Cocker for two great nights, and loved everything about it. San Telmo is a great neighborhood to explore, and you're within walking distance to it all. The rooftop gardens made it extra special, particularly the hammock on the very top, where I napped in the sun, overlooking the city below. The breakfast table was stunning, and... more

The Cocker is knocked out beautiful. Our room (19-03) was two stories with the bathroom located above the bedroom with large open glass walls. It has been feautured in several magazines. We had a patio on the rooftop with a table and chairs that was ideal for drinking wine. Our bed was very comfortable. The Cocker is ideally located to... more

We stayed in room 19-02. The design of the room and furnishings are very interesting and romantic; however, no one appears to be maintaining the quality and cleanliness. The main problem was the wetroom. There was extensive mildew visible on the floor and the window. It was obvious that the wetroom was not cleaned thoroughly for some time, as the... more

Hello Travel Friends: My girlfriend and I stayed at the Cocker for 3 nights while in Buenos Aires and had an excellent experience. Our room was clean and stylish and the staff, including the owner Amanda was very gracious and eager to give information about what to do and see in Buenos Aires. The roof top terrace of The Cocker... more

I agree with all the reviews about the great service. Marianna greeted us after the long flight and welcomed us with tea and coffee. The restaurant recommendations were spot on. It is in a more urban part of San Telmo that is not as touristy. If you are not used to a few homeless people (we have plenty in Dallas),... more
