The location is not the best - walking distance (ten min) from Calle Florida and other attractions (9 de julio avenue). Breakfast is nothing great and there is no WiFi in the rooms (only in lobby). Staff is very helpful

All in all an OK hotel, everything looked clean and quite new. Rooms are really small, furniture is kept to a minimum - there are no closets, just an open space to hang your clothes, and no drawers. Bathrooms are small (this is in particular a problem with the shower cabin) but clean and basic amenities. Breakfast had a nice... More

The room was small but ok for an overnight stop. No wardrobe but hanging space for half a dozen shirts. Clean and tidy but definitely not suitable for a long stay. Staff very helpful. Breakfast won't make you overweight !

We stayed 3 nights in the Rochester and were lucky to get a high room with a terrace which made the room seem larger. The room was nicely decorated however we had to ask for the air conditioner to be turned off each night as it was extremely noisy. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection. Staff very helpful.... More

My friend and I have recently returned from a six night stay at this hotel and we were very impressed. We didn't pay much at all and, as such, we were somewhat concerned by a few of the reviews posted here. Fortunately, we had a lovely stay at the Rochester Concept. Our room was a decent size (okay, not exactly... More

This hotel, while conveniently located. has definitely seen better days! The room was very small with little natural lighting, as the window looked out onto a concrete wall. The bathroom was totally inadequate. Dining room appeared to be unclean and breakfast just ok. No free WiFi in the room only in the lobby which basically doubled as the dining area.However... More

Nice little hotel in the perfect city location. However as everything in BA is not quite complete package. Rooms too small, prepay for WiFi, for gym need to go across the road, rubbish bins people in front of the hotel etc

It was clean but very small. had a real problem storing cloths etc. Only room for 1 person at a time in bathroom. I could not take a shower if my wife was doing her hair or makeup. Just no room. Since then I have found larger and cheaper places that were clean and friendly.

Clean and neat, prompt service, excellent breakfast, comfortable bed, but small room with no chair, no desk, no clothes closet, no drawers, no waste basket. Small bathroom equipped with bidet, but no bath tub, just a tiny shower with curtain. Wi-Fi is available, but takes a lot of time and many attempts to get a working connection. Bandwidth is OK... As this was the second time I was staying in the Rochester chain, I knew what to expect, but still I was wondering why the rate would be only 23 Euro per night. It turned out that the hotel had the street broken up in front of it, so I guess that was why they lowered their already very good... More
