I stayed during the Argentinian winter, so didn't have breakfast on the patio, but it was a nice area. Dining room was pretty, breakfast was good by Argentine tradition (Continental; not hearty enough for me), high-speed internet was great. Most of staff was fluent in English and helpful when I needed help arranging trip to Iguazu Falls. I stayed in... more

The location is nice, close to Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. The street is relatively quiet. The B & B itself is a charming two story building, with an outdoor patio in the back. There is a nice dining room and common room. The breakfast consisted of ham, cheese, croissants, cereal, granola, yogurt, juice, coffee, and jams. We stayed in... more

A bit pricey, but in a wonderful neighborhood within walking distance of all the best restaurants in BA. Our room, the Violetta, was beautiful and homey, with a small but nice bathroom attached. We threw open the doors to our balcony and let the Atlantic breeze waft across us all night. Atmospheric, with music and chatter from the street, but... more

This quaint little B&B was a great hideway from the hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires. It is situated in Palermo, and is very close what is called Palermo SoHo, a hip little area with tonnes of great restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms in the B&B were a decent size, although the common areas were quite spacious. An ample... more

Stayed here during a longer stay in BA - was originally in a larger hotel downtown, but when I wanted something quieter and in a funkier area I moved here, and don't regret it one bit. Located right on the edge of Palermo Hollywood, about a five-minute walk to the fun parts of Palermo with bars and shops. Great staff... more

We really enjoyed our stay here! We loved Cati the resident cat! It really felt more like I was staying in a home, and I truly enjoyed the helpful staff. We stayed in the Bamboo room which had a lovely view of the patio garden. The fast and convenient computer upstairs with internet connection was a lovely bonus to help... more

We spent 3 nights at la otra orrilla. The house is really beautiful and the area is good, very close to great shops and restaurants. The staff at reception is very helpful, specially Paula. We stayed at the Junior suite, which is a very nice room. For the price, I will recommended this hotel. more

We spent our first night in Buenos Aires at La Otra Orilla and were satisfied with all aspects of our stay. We arranged with the hotel to have a driver meet us at the airport, which worked out fine, and we arrived at the hotel around noon. Our room (Bamboo Room) was available and we were able to take a... more

We had such a wonderful stay here. We highly recommend the Bamboo Room, which had access to a lovely patio. The breakfasts were delicious, complete with fresh squeezed orange juice. It's conveniently located, a short walk, to the Buenos Aires Subte. The best part of the hotel was the kindness of the staff. They gave us wonderful ideas of places... more
