The place, the service, the attention and the friendly owners make honor about the name of this B&B. it is cozy. Jorge, the owner is a great expert of wines, he is a great artist doing painting of female women. Felipe is the cat. you will feel as at home. Also in the terrace of the building there is a... More

Two friends and used Tango B&B as our base of operations for our visit to Argentina. We kept our big bags there, and used smaller ones on our visit to Patagonia and the Iguazu Falls. Valeria and Jorge were incredible during our time in BA itself, helping us get around and even arranging for a friend of theirs who is... More

I had such high hopes for my stay in the Tango Cozy Home. Very disturbing experience there. I am a single woman and chose to stay in the main part of the house near the art studio/kitchen. Room was small but comfortable. The first night was fine. The second night I was having trouble falling asleep. There was light coming... More

We stayed here in 2009: I have been meaning to place a review ever since but regret that I haven't got around to it till now... Better late than never, I hope! It's a testament to the lovely time we had here that I still think so fondly of the place and our hosts. We just loved staying at this... More

Great neighborhood. The best hosts anyone could ask for. I was actually there in February 2009...date not available on drop down. Went with my then 88 years old mom, who had two broken ribs. Jorge and Valeria bent over backwards to allow us to have a fabulous time. They made recomendations, they went above and beyond what any other B&B... More

I am a university student and was recently in Buenos Aires for three weeks to complete some field research. I wasn't about to spend 21 nights in a hotel, but at the same time needed a comfortable place to work and rest and therefore needed something slightly more than a student hostel. The Tango B&B ended up being perfect for... More

Valeria and Gorge gave us a warm welcome in Buenos Aires. There home was ours, we could use the computer, the fridge, we sat on the roofterrace and in the common kitchen, wich was very pleasant. The expanded breakfast was very good and the vegetarian BBQ was lovely! In course distance is the chinese visit. The subway takes you to... More

Valeria and Jorge greeted us with open arms. After we had settled into this wonderful house, she provided us with maps and incredibly helpful recommendations. She requested taxi's on our behalf, provided us with coins we needed for bus usage, and provided invaluable advise regarding sites and tour options. More importantly, she made us feel like we were staying with... More

Staying in Belgrano

Neighborhood Profile
Belgrano
As one of the main commercial hubs of Buenos Aires, Belgrano has something for everyone. The myriad of shop windows in Cabildo Ave. will draw you in, but it is Chinatown — an area of no more than two square blocks — which will keep you hooked. Crowned by an ornate arch marking its entrance and filled with small stores packed to the brim, it is a place where color and scent emanate from every corner, particularly during the Chinese New Year when they spill over to surrounding areas. But if you prefer a quieter atmosphere, the residential quarter of Belgrano is the perfect destination. This section of town features some of the most magnificent mansions in the city, spread out on cobbled streets lined by tall, majestic trees: a true feast for the eyes.
