This is a good hotel. The room is confortable and the staff is very helpful in giving you tips about the city and helping you in directions and reservations. The breakfast is acceptable, although sometimes the replacement of the food is not as fast as you can expect. It is close to center of the city and close to a... More

I stayed in this Hotel. The check in fast and swift. The rooms and bathroom a bit small. The rooms are clean. The breakfast is great with good service. There is free Wi-Fi in the room. The hotel is located very closed to the subway and central.

Hotel´s web page informs availability of Queen Bed Room No smoking with jacuzzi. I made reservation, and what I obtained was an Smoking without jacuzzi space. Change to No smoking place was done, but jacuzzi "is a page mistake". I guess I did not received what is advertized, but nobody gets worried for that.

We stayed in this hotel when we visited Buenos Aires last month, and the only negative thing I could think of this hotel is that it may be a bit small, but overall the attention was great, the complimentary breakfast was varied and good, rooms were clean, staff friendly, etc... And the best thing is that it's located only like... More

The best things about this hotel are the location, just 5 minutes or so from the main square, and the breakfast. The room was attractive, spacious and comfortable, with a safe. But the soundproofing between rooms was poor. Plenty of shops and restaurants in close proximity. The area felt very safe to walk around in, even after dark. Don't miss... More

This is not a BAD hotel, but there's one issue that makes it a bad experience for me. When I get up in the morning, whenever that is, or even in the evening I would like to make a cup of coffee. I carry with me a coffee cup and some instant coffee packs for just this reason. I have... More

Stayed 2 nights whilst touring. rooms smaller compared to some other SA cities, but very comfy beds (singles, as opposed to the bigger beds elsewhere, but the most perfectly delicious linen ! Must be best quality ever (is that high thread rate?) so fine & smooth. Peculiar shower-screen arrangement makes it difficult to get it running without getting wet (which... More

Stayed for 2 nights whilst on a tour. Rooms and bathroom on the small side, restaurant needs updating breakfast ok. Good location. Don't use laundry service unless urgent expensive and clothes dry cleaned unnecessarily( manager did give refund on dry cleaning) Perfect for short stays.

I spend three nights per week at this hotel, so It's a home away from home for me. Pros: Staff is very friendly and efficient. I had a couple of issues with reservations and laundry rates and in all cases they were solved promptly. Good location for business traveller, walking distance from San Telmo (see below) Rooms are clean and... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
