Trendy chic boutiques hotel but 4 stars it isn't. The rooms we were in are small which is expected for a boutique hotel, it does have everything you need and a bidet to boot. But it is showing it's age or lack of regular maintenance. They have to move us because in the first room(103) the air conditioner drips water... More

We had booked a standard room but when we arrived we got an executive one instead which was a really nice gesture from them. Staff has always been very helpful with us. The room was clean and big. And the breakfast was amazing. I would recommend this hotel if you are thinking about staying in Buenos Aires for some days.... More

Arrived at this hotel after cruise from Europe on 12 December. No aircon in public areas despite the very hot weather. Rooms were very small, beds very low and uncomfortable. As we were travelling to Iguazu for several days then coming back, we wanted to leave our heavy suitcases in storage at the hotel. We even offered to pay. They... More

Really good hotel by its price! It is located in a walking distance from many points of interesting spots such as Calle Florida (and Galeria Pacifiico), San Martin Plaza, Recoleta, Plaza de Mayo and Porto Madero. Comfortable rooms, although the tiny bathroom (includes bathtub). Reasonable front desk service and yummy breakfast (normally included in the price).

I liked the modern look of the hotel, though some parts of it seemed a bit run down. It seems like it could use a refurbishment, but for the price you can't complain. There is no AC in the hallways, but the AC in my room seemed to work fine. One thing I will mention is that I booked a... More

Stayed here for two nights when, due to flight schedules, my stay in Buenos Aires was extended. Moved here because it was half the price of my previous hotel. It ended up being nearly as nice. While the area within 2 blocks of the hotel is pretty dead, it's a short walk to Florida Street and other BA attractions. Friendly... More

Stayed with my wife for more than a week on a combined business-pleasure trip. We had an executive room, which included a very nice spa tub. The first couple of nights were difficult due to noise from the room above us at 3:30-4:30 am (the floors aren't carpeted, so it's easy for the noise to penetrate) and construction noise during... We were referred to this hotel by friends of ours who had been there a few years ago, and it had a fairly good rating on Trip Advisor. The location is very good - near Florida Street, and fairly close to the Pink Palace and the Teatro Colon. The room we got was called and Executive Suite, and it had... More

The hotel is pretty clean and the employees are nice and polited, but the rooms are too small as well the bathroom. The worst part is the noise and smell from air conditioned system. It seems like have no maintenance at all and the window doesn't open...

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
