The hotel is ideally located in Puerto Madero, right next to the port and a few blocks away from San Telmo. If you are willing to walk a bit you can get around most of the historical center from there. The place is modern and decorated with taste, the rooms are vast and spotless, loved the bathtub. Special mention to... More

International hotel with better prices than the Hilton, good spa/gym on the roof, great bar, good location, large clean rooms. Free wifi, option to change language on TV to English. Would have liked replacement soaps and tea bags in the room from time to time. This seemed quite patchy during my 1 week stay.

We were booked at the Madero by our tour operator and they made a good choice. A modern hotel with all of the facilities you would expect. Nice spacious rooms with a view over gardens and pool from rear rooms, or, over the regenerated docks from the front rooms. Various restaurants nearby (although several seemed not to have made the... This hotel was lovely. It is in a very quiet and safe area of town. There are several restaurants along the portside and is only a short walk from the centre of town and the hustle and bustle of BA. It is very close to a nature reserve and park. It may be a little too quiet for some. We... More

Situated in the Puetos Madero area of BA, a regenerated docklands area that is now the place to be. Whilst not near the centre taxis are dirt cheap, about £5 to get from centre to the hotel, I'm not complaining especially bearing in mind air fare costs. Plenty of restaurants nearby including one very good steak house, The hotel is... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
