When they say "Welcome to Hotel Madero, where hip, sophisticated travelers to Buenos Aires come to stay" is actually very true. This was my fifth time at this hotel. It has the perfect mix for both Business and Pleasure. One suggestion is to book on line directly with the hotel and that way wifi will be free. Otherwise you will... More

The hotel is located in the new and up and coming area of Madero, which is nice and safe. But the trade off is that it is quite far from everything else. We had a corner room, but it faced an apartment building with a partial view of the docks to the side. They try to make the interior quite... More

The hotel was fantastic, a boutique style hotel with a beautiful view over Buenos aires from the pool and gym. The room was large and the breakfast was lovely. The area of Madero is very nice and clean. My fiancée and I really liked the hotel. The only slightly negative point is that the location requires a. 20 minute walk... More

This Hotel is just right for business or tourism in Buenos Aires. You can find nice restaurants at walking distance, safe place to walk, modern and new area in the City. Good service, breakfast is good. No complaints. Compared to other expensive hotels in the Area, Madero is the best value proposition, no doubt.

The hotel stands at “the other side of Puerto Madero”. This is a very modern and elegant neighborhood that most of the tourists never visit. The location is very good, a walk distance from many restaurants, museums little stores, parks, the microcenter of Buenos Aires, and also a walk distance from SanTelmo neighborhood. The hotel has very spacious rooms, and... More

We spent four nights at this hotel and found it wanting in several aspects. The halls are dark with numerous scuff marks giving the feeling that the upkeep could improve. The room was spacious and comfortable but we couldn't get in one several occasions because our card key kept being canceled. The staff at the desk didn't know why and... More

The room was good, the staff was excellent too, but the last day we pay 1/2 day to stay few more hours. They allow you to stay until 6pm, even though you pay half day. So 6 hours only for the price of 12, ok, but then you have no internet which was free on a regular day. We called... More

Stayed in this hotel for two nights as part of a pre cruise visit to the city. A good stay overall in a nice area of the city. Food was average, breakfast consisted of a large buffet which can create the usual scrum among the guests looking for fruit etc. Evening meal was fine. Fitness suite was adequate but the... More

Stayed at this hotel while visiting Buenos Aries on business. I found the area to safe and very walk-able. The hotel was very clean and inviting. Enjoyed morning breakfast selections as well as sushi at the bar. I would suggest this hotel whenever you are in Buenos Aries.

Situated at the former port - Puerto Madero, which has been revitalized and modernized, the hotel is at the heart of this trendy borough of Buenos Aires. The hotel staff is very friendly, the reception is functional, and the bar and restaurant offer comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Breakfast is very good but is repetitive. They have large rooms but... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
