Due to renovations at our normal layover hotel, the Hilton, we were temporary moved to Hotel Madero. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I had a corner room with a balcony. It was big and nicely decorated. Bathroom was pretty modern with nice amenities such as bath salt. Minor complaint was that the pillows were very firm, unlike the... More

My preferred place in Buenos Aires for a business trip. In a quiet Puerto Madero area, with a very beautiful bar and patio area inside, free welcome wine glass and a delicious contemporary restaurant. Canolli desert was awesome... Service is really very good, very nice rooms.. Over the average for what i paid for... For me, the best one in... More

Always stays at the Madero located where most of my customers are. Used to stay at the Sofitel downtown as a platinium member but since I have tried the Madero 3 years ago I am overall very satisfied. Corner room is large and comfortable but need to be located on the back garden side since the main street side is... More

Only one night but excellent service and hotel amenities. Very nice room with wonderful view. Area where hotel is located is very safe, quite and with many options to have a fantastic dinner. Old Madero port has been redesigned as commercial center where work and enjoy at the same time is possible. Would come back.

This 4+ Star Hotel is situated in the re-established dock area of Buenos Aires. Refurbished warehouses and newly constructed apartments are mixed with an abundance of trendy cafes and restaurants along the quays of the Madero. The hotel is a secure, modern and well-laid out, and seems to attract a good clientele including a large number of business professionals. Even... More

BA was the first stop on our South American adventure and this hotel was a great start. Puerto Madero isn't in the thick of it all, but feels smarter and safer than some other districts and vibrant San Telmo is a ten minute walk away. We booked with Kuoni, and originally chose it because the images made it look a... More

Staying in Puerto Madero

Neighborhood Profile
Puerto Madero
From its refurbished red brick buildings and port cranes to its modern skyscrapers and luxurious apartment buildings, Puerto Madero is the perfect combination of old and new. The river provides a quiet, relaxing atmosphere that contrasts with the hustle and bustle of heavy traffic just blocks away. Across the river, flanked by skyscrapers, are beautiful parks and quiet streets that make this neighborhood a unique destination in a city as busy as Buenos Aires. The restaurants, bars, and nightclubs on the docks make it a prime spot for nights out and have come to symbolize this area. Puerto Madero is even more striking after dark, when the lights from the docks and skyscrapers glow against the night sky.
