Ive been in a better HOSTELS then this hotel. I don't know who gave it 4 stars (sign on the entrance wall), but i wouldn't give more then 2. We arrived at 2AM, and although we orders a double bed room (honeymoon trip) we recieved a single bed room! Next, we asked to change rooms, and they gave us a... More

Good value hotel in centre of city. Good breakfast and comfortable, clean, en-suite rooms. Friendly and helpful Spanish speaking staff, with limited English. Handy for restaurants, sights and shops, etc.

Close to everything, good rooms and great service. For the price, is probably one of the greatest cost-benefit relations in town. If you want something fancy, this is probably not for you, more on the budget-wise side of the coin. Neighborhood doesnt seem very nice once it gets dark, but doesnt seem to be a problem. Cab service is very... More

Do 3star hotels have hairdryers in Beaunos Aires? I dont seem to be able to find anything on all the sites i have looked at. Especially Selles Hotel??? Also are the hotel staff reliable in leading you to the "right" shops when asked for best buys and best money exchange?

I stayed there last week. They tried to charge me extra for a guest (co-worker) who came to see me. The receptionist said it was hotel rules to charge anyone who stayed longer than 15 minutes. He tried to charge my co-worker as someone who stayed to sleep for the night! My guest was with me for only one hour... More

I totally agree with previous review, location is the only positive thing about this hotel. Our room was so small, we could only walk sideways between the bed and small 50 year old TV. It was a task to move luggage out of the way. I know that top floor rooms were renovated and have flat screen TVs. Breakfast was... More

A disappointing start to our holiday. The hotel has a good location but sadly that's the only positive thing I can say. On arrival, staff not very friendly or helpful. Room was small; bathroom urgently needed updating. Breakfast 'just about' ok.

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
