Advertised as "a trendy hotel" and rated well in guide books...this is a dump. The only worse hotel room I have ever stayed in was in Bande Ache Indonesia after the Tsunami. For the pros I can say that location is fine, breakfast is pretty good, the place is not too expensive, bed are confortable, living room is cosy and nice, free high speed internet access, staff was nice... but for the cons the place definitely needs a deep cleaning: painting are old and dirty, bathroom has mold, and also the room... more

My friend and I stayed at Che Lulu in March of 2007 because we decided to stay longer in Buenos Aires before traveling to Uruguay and the hotel we were at before count not accommodate us for two extra nights.
