My partners and I stayed at Art Hotel for four days in May of this year and had a very good experience. The hotel is located in Recoleta and was ideally situated for both work during the day and for restaurants and relaxation at night. The rooms were quiet and well serviced, comfortable beds in particular. Breakfast was simple but... more
This place looked great on paper (screen) but our room was so small, we practically had to dive into the bed from the foot. The closet was a cage - really! And there was one drawer! We could not unpack. Another review characterized the staff as "helpful but not engaging," I think. This is totally accurate. We booked for 2... more
As General Manager of the Art Hotel, I am always sorry when a customer leaves our hotel dissatisfied. It is quite true to say that our rooms "Small and Cozy Twin" are small and for this reason that we call as well. We explain this to all clients who ask us for details on these rooms. One of the main...
We chose this hotel based on it's reasonable price...$95 per night, and favorable reviews....what a mistake! Had booked a 4 night stay but checked out after one night. Two major problems......air con basically did not function. Would run for 30-40 minutes and shut off. Room very warm, stuffy and musty smelling. Other problem was noise....hallway and room above. Room quite... more
My husband and I stayed at the Art Hotel for 3 nights. Their rate was great, as they had a special where you paid for 2 nights and stayed 3 nights, $190 USD total for 3 nights. We stayed in a basic small and cozy room at the back of the hotel. Comfortable beds and quiet area, however the rooms... more
The king rooms with balcony was very noisy as it is located on the street side. This is a busy street and continues to be busy through the night. We moved to a back room the second night which was small but quieter. The breatfast would have been vastly improved by adding regular hard boiled eggs rather than small quail... more
We stayed at the Art Hotel for one night at the end of our trip. The Art Hotel is definitely neat. The room we stayed in was a "small and cozy," and it lived up to the description. It was fine for one night, but way too small for 2 people for an extended stay. Still, the room was clean... more
I just returned from 8 days in Argentina. I picked the Art Hotel based on the reviews and its website. It was nice but did not live up to the expectations created. Although the location is great, the room I had was very small, the staff was helpful but not engaging, and the rooftop deck was poor. In addition, the... more
Loved the hotel. It is not for those who want the corporate hotel experience with all its glitz and glamour, but if you want a centrally located, clean and comfortable boutique hotel that is intimate and gives a real "feel" for Buenos Aires, the Art Hotel couldn't be any better. For us it was perfect. The staff were all pleasant,... more
The Art Hotel is centrally located, about several blocks from the D line's Pueyrredon station. The Recoleta area is super safe during all times of the day. Had the queen sized room for almost a week. Although a bit cramped compared to a standard American hotel room for 2 (think efficiency or small studio in NYC), I have no complaints.... more
