Overall, it is ok. It is affordable, and excellent location. You get basic juice and milk, bread and croissants for breakfast. Wifi in the lobby. If you are picky person, and want to examine paint peels, and anything you can find wrong , please stay somewhere else. But, if you are wanting to reasonable cost hotel for a few days,... More

Most of the rooms are new, so the accommodations are usually pretty good. The best is the localization, really close to everywhere and only two blocks from the Calle Florida. The breakfast is simple but ok and the staff is great, specially Maria, from de fourth floor!

The hotel is old, but it's worthful for price and location, very close to Pacificio and Calle Florida. But the breakfast is terrible. There is a nice and reasonable restaurant in front of the hotel, called El Establo. I truly reccomend it!

We came from Uruguay by boat, the terminal is only 4 blocks away from it (puerto madero) and you can get there walking which is a huge plus considering Argentinian cabs are known scammers. When we first arrived, seems a whole lot of people aswell did, only 1 person was checking people in so we had to wait like 15... More

I went to this hotel with my boyfriend for New Year. It's a simple hotel, don't create expectations about the three star. The lobby it's beautiful, but the rooms are simple, but that's ok. The breakfast is very poor, if you wake up late maybe you can't find a mug, a knife or a bread. We had problems with the... More

The hotel lobby is the only thing that's good about this hotel. The rooms were outdated, ugly and filthy! The location is close to Calla Florida and it is a piece of ***t! The staff was really rude as were almost all argentinians!

I went to this hotel with my boyriend for the weekend. When we arrived at the hotel, there were patrol cars everywhere. Upon entering the hotel, we saw a police officer taking down some snotes and two women and a boy having an argument with the hotel receptionist. One of the woman was crying, the other was shouting at the... More

Travel with my girlfriend but indeed was with a big group from Venezuela, the better is the location but all the rest looks so old and careless, like we just go to sleep was not so bad so if is just to sleep and have quick breakfast is recomendable.

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
