This hotel is a romantic venue for couples. First, the owner, Martin, was awesome! When I proposed to my fiancee, Martin was super helpful, arranging a romantic candle-lit table on the rooftop while we were away at a dinner. I couldn't have asked for better service, and on something as important as that, it was a huge relief when he... More

We only stayed here one night for our last night in Buenos Aires, but would definitely stay again if we ever go back. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean room, free wifi and friendly staff. The room was tucked away within the hotel and so was very quiet. Breakfast is served in the restaurant across the street and was great. Location was... More

The location is great, casa rosada is like two mins walk, obelisque - like seven mins.. When u there make sure u visit London city cafe, very nice service as well, it's like two blocks from hotel. U can actually exchange money in there too, they give u good deal. There some minor shortages in the hotel, but it all... More

It was a plaesure to stay in the Arribo. It is a perfect match from A to Z. The hole hotel is very lovely designed. I loved this vintage style. The rooms are not big, but it is all in there what you need, and they are pretty quiet.

The hotel is good, rooms are clean and even cleaned daily. Comfortable beds and decent size bathroom. We had the room at the back and internet connectivity is not that good for that room. Martin is a really friendly owner and would try to help. Breakfast is at the cafe across the streets. That being said, the location is not... More

Arribo is an excellent choice near central Plaza de Mayo. Superb location near both the micro center and San Telmo. The area may look a bit dicey at first, but it's reasonably safe (for a large metro area). Inside the hotel is lovely and sparkling clean. All overseen by the eternally helpful Martin. There's no signage on the outside, so... More

My wife and I have nothing but love for this charming boutique hotel with such a walk-able location. Great restaurants just a stroll away, immaculate rooms, gorgeous design and comfortable firm beds. The proprietor Martin, who is always available and speaks wonderful English, is courteous, accommodating, and a wealth of knowledge for tips and lookouts in the area. There is... More

We spent tree nights at Arribo. We have booked a deluxe room, but we got a superior room for the same prize because of availability. The staff is very helpful, Martin helped us organize our walks around the city. The room is big, clean and tidy. We were a bit scared at the beginning because the main entrance is small... More

This is a new, small hotel. It's centrally located in the old district, within easy walking distance of the Palace, Avenida de Mayo, and the main boulevard 9 de Julio. But, on the weekends and at night, it is abandoned. Very dicey walking around after dark. When you arrive, you must look for the house number. There are no signs... More

We spent one night at Arribo and really enjoyed our stay. The location is perfect as its close to the Microcentro and San Telmo, We had a really nice room with a great bed and nice bathroom, it also had a balcony facing out onto the street, but it was still very quiet at night. Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
