This apartment hotel property was very clean, good quality, and in an excellent location near to restaurants and the Recoleta Cemetery. The staff on the front desk are helpful. The only thing that we felt let it down was the quality of the breakfast. We would recommending not opting for this and going to one of the nearby cafes. It... More

Stayed at this great small hotel for 5 nights. We were very impressed with the staff who helped us on how to get to places of interest and a Tango Theatre night out. The hotel is in walking distance to some great restaurants and many of the main sights including The cemetery where Evita has been laid to rest. An... More

A good location in Recoleta very close to the famous Recoleta Cemetery, the Floralis Generica sculpture and the Museo de Bellas Artes. The MALBA is walkable in about 15 to 20 minutes.. We used the subway (Pueyrredon station) to get to Centro (5 stops?) and San Telmo. This boutique hotel has only about 12 rooms. All rooms are newly renovated... More

These squeaky clean new apartments were excellent for our 6 night stay. There is a small kitchen with large fridge, hot plate and microwave, a supermarket and laundry 1.5 blocks away and 24 hour security. The apartments are serviced daily and are located in the safe an leafy Recoleta. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Recoleta cemetery is... More

We had chosen to stay in Recoleta for our first visit to Buenos Aires, and we were glad we stayed at Art Suites & Gallery. It was nice to have an apartment rather than just a room to come back to after a day of sightseeing. The location could not have been better. We had no view (other than the building... More

I stayed here for 5 nights with my wife in a one bedroom apartment in October 2014. We chose this hotel for its proximity to our daughter who currently resides in the Recoleta neighborhood. The hotel itself has no signage in front, just the building number. It is just a few steps from the intersection of Pena and Azcuenaga (sorry... More

Wouldn't say that it's a five star, but because the staff were truly always helpful and friendly, rooms were spacious and felt so homey , I'd rate it excellent. Place was clean, modern, had everything we need to make our own breakfast and be comfortable in the space... Each query we had , front desk were accommodating... Took our messages... More

We love to have the amenities of an apartment, but also the convenience of 24 hour front desk so this place is perfect. It is in the Recoleta district, which is a lovely part of the city to stay in. Our 1 bedroom apartment had a large living area and separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed, a bathroom with... More

Staying at Art Suites & Gallery was like being at home. Great place to stay, very spacious. The breakfast is daily served at your room. Very well located in Recoleta. You can move around to most popular places and streets of the neighborhood. Great place to stay.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
