Hub Porteno is more like a private residency than a hotel. When we arrived in BA, Our taxi driver hadn't a clue where it was. And this, my friends, is exactly the reason to go. With just over 10 rooms, you are hardly noticeable situated on a quiet street in the heart of the Recoleta neighborhood - the wealthiest area... More

Just incredible. Best service, best food, exquisite decoration and ambiance, a great location, rooms perfectly designed to not want to leave the room. Couldn't find a better place to stay in buenos aired

My wife and I stayed at Hub Porteno for 4 nights during a three week trip throughout South America, and this was by far the best hotel we were lucky enough to find. Hub Porteno is a luxurious hotel, in a great location in Recoleta, with amazing service, all for an incredibly reasonable rate. First, the service was absolutely incredible.... More

We were on an extended trip of South America and we made a conscious choice to go for boutique hotels rather than large luxury chains . With the exception of Belmond hotels which we really like. I researched Hub Porteno and having read the reviews we were really looking forward to our 3 night stay. The location was also an... More

After a few nights at Alvear Art, moved to Hub Porteno for a more intimate and "local" experience. First, and foremost, everyone on the team was superb, starting with Sara Gaulis the GM. Second, we booked an "experience" on short notice and had a exceptional tour of contemporary art in BA. If the other experiences were 75% as good, I'd... More

I cannot say enough good things about the Hub Porteno. This hotel was recommended when we were in the midst of a crisis, of sorts, with an apartment rental gone awry, so were able to snag a wonderful last minute and off season deal. It is a small hotel, tucked in to a beautiful side street in Recoleta. There is... More

Great small hotel with terrific staff that could not have been more attentive. Perfect location in Recoleta; close to shopping, restaurants, museums. Walked everywhere and always felt completely safe. be sure to take advantage of the breakfast. It is varied and excellent. Room was large, airy and featured a huge, and attractive bath. Deserves 5 stars.

Amazingly large and well appointed rooms. The bathroom is bigger than most hotel rooms. The highlight was the attention from the Manager, Sarah. Nothing was too much trouble. One of our party had an issue with stolen passports and she went out of her way to help late in the evening. Likewise with any other need. They even picked up... More

This feels expensive and luxurious as soon as you enter. The reception staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Our room was huge, excessively so. We'd asked for an extra bed as we were a party of three. More than enough room for the extra bed. But it turned out to be the most uncomfortable third bed imaginable. Curious that they... More

We stayed at Hub Porteno for 4 nights at NYE this year. We read mixed reviews on tripadvisor but we did prefer to stay in a boutique hotel in Ricoletta so we booked it. What we experienced was beyond any expectations. The lobby is actually a very elegant room where the stuff makes you feel at home, they chit chat... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
