I stayed here and was moved to three different rooms as either the safe or TV didn't work. The rooms were shabby, dirty and smelly. The staff unhelpful, surly and rude. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my whole life. Doesn't even qualify for 2 star let alone 4. Stay away I wouldn't wish it on... More

Pros - Location is central. Cafes and shops are just around the corner and St. Martin's Plaza and other attractions are only a few blocks away. - Internet was free and speed was mostly on sometimes slow. Cons - Reception was not welcoming. I was greeted with frowns not a smile. They couldn't find my reservation which I had made... More

My father-in-law who is elderly, but a fearless traveler found this hotel. After our first Hotel which I won't name but translates to "seen the sun" told us they had extended his reservation but in actuality had not so we found out later. So anyways he packed his one bag and started walking around and happened upon the "Grand King... More

Threatened to keep luggage unless we paid double the original reservation rate peso. Classic bait and switch. Wifi drops you constantly. Shower doesn't drain. most rooms are not renovated and very different from pictures on website. Majority of Hotel staff except for one guy at night acts very unfriendly and unprofessional (played loud music and ate a meal during guest... More

My son and I stayed here for a couple of days en route to Cordoba. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast fine and the wifi free. The room photos on the site must be for more expensive rooms, because the one I booked looked like it was last decorated in the late 1980s. However, the bathroom was clean, the sheets were in good condition, the safe works just fine. Breakfast is almost usually included in room price, and in this case it was a good plus!... More

Stayed there for nearly a week. Great location - just in a hart of Buenos Aires. Standard double rooms quite small and a bit stenchy. Pretty poor choice for breakfest and hard to get some proper food in the evenings.

The hotel is located in convenient location. Its just walking distance from shopping pedestrians. The hotel was clean. The room was big enough for the price. we could not ask for more. Front Staffs were not that friendly. anyway not bad nor excellent, just good.

This was the worst surprise of a month vacation in Buenos Aires for me. The photos and reviews I saw on expedia made me expect good things. The ONLY good thing about this hotel is its location. As for the endless list of negatives... shabby condition overall, lumpy bed, stinky pillows, musty smell, deceitful staff (especially the ugly one in... More
