This hotel is close to many restaurants, sites, bars, banks and the Pacifico shopping center. The lobby has ample seating areas and a nice bar. The interior spaces & rooms are a little tired looking. The rooms are large enough with TV & free wifi. The thermostats will only turn on the A/C and adjust fan speed. The temperature is... More

We were on a conducted group tour from India and stayed at the Amerian for a total of 3-nights in October, 2015. The hotel lobby was nice and had good sitting areas. We had a comfortable stay in our room, on the 9th floor with a view, which was spacious and well appointed and the attached bathroom was nice and... More

Spent 3 nights at the hotel. Good location, walking distance from the Puerto Madera area. Rich breakfast, but if you want eggs you'll have to wait for 7:30ish Convenient large rooms, shabby view. The elevator is tricky - must use room key to operate, plenty of malfunctions, several people got stuck in the elevator ... Good wifi reception and speed... More

Stayed here to kick off a Patagonia trip. The location is OK for a night or two, but we returned after the tour for another three days. The surrounding area is fair - some streets a little sketchy at night. It is convenient to the Bouquebus terminal and Puerto Madero. Buenos Aires is a big city, so it's hard to... More

Decent size room with comfortable beds,no views and minimal street noise. No face cloths in the room.Only tiny shot glasses are offered for drinking. The halls are kept dark until you reach the sensor near your room.Elevator must be activated by your room key with the N in Amerian facing the arrow, otherwise you will go nowhere.Breakfast is an average selection of buffet... Stayed here twice - at the beginning and the end of a two week trip to Patagonia. Very nice hotel in a great location. Easy walking distance to lots of things to see, good restaurants, and shopping in Buenos Aires. The rooms are large and the staff is friendly and helpful. Good WIFI connection in the rooms.

I stayed for one night as I was looking for a Hotel next to Puerto Madero to get the Buquebus in the morning. It was absolutely great compared with other hotels on the same area considering the price. Clean, spacious and close to everything.

This is my second stay here, it's a good reliable hotel in an excellent location. The check in and check out process can take a while sometimes, especially if there's a queue, so bear that in mind if it's an issue. The rooms are a good size, and have everything you need. The restaurant next to the lobby is ok.... More

If you are after a comfortable hotel, with a comfortable bed and decent shower then this Hotel is perfect for you. Rooms are fairly small but clean, location is good but no good restaurant or additional services
