We got a great rate for this hotel, primarily because the road in front of is closed for construction. We had to walk a half of a block from a cross street. Rooms were small but clean. Staff was efficient and courteous. Breakfast buffet was great. Hotel is just two blocks from Florida Street, the main pedestrian walk in Centre... More

The laundry service in this place is a complete rip off! They charged us $270 Australian dollars for like 20 items of clothing (mostly underrwear)! They did not have any prices written on the laundry form and being naive we assumed it would be reasonable...but to check out and have to pay a bill of nearly $300 is beyond shocking... More

Considering the poor value of the Argentine dollar, this place feels like a steal at $75/night ( USD). Wi-Fi is not included, so prepare to pay extra unless using free lobby wi-fi. The rooms are clean, but very small, as is the bathroom. AC units are old and very noisy, and it is not uncommon to hear a neighbor easily... More

The hotel is pretty good, with nice staff, very helpfull. The rooms are quite, with good size and have a really good price-quality relation. The hotel is at "minicentro", at the center of the city, that is close to everything, but at night is pretty dangerous and dirty.

The Rochester is a very good base to explore BA. It's close to most sights by walking. The buffet breakfast is very good and varied. The staff are friendly and efficient. Our double room was really tight, but clean. Thank goodness my partner and I are small people otherwise, anyone over 5' would struggle in such a small space with... More

Are they nuts! I beleave it's become a norm to have free wifi. On a trip of 6 weeks this is a first! Chile. Peru. Not an issue. A reasonable price hotel like this in Argentina and they want you to pay for this service. Ridiculous. As for the rest .nothing to write home about. Noisy air conditioning. Smaller than... More

I work for a travel agent and sent two clients to Rochester Classic for 7 nights. The location is ok, but they reported of poor rooms and bad service from the hotel when they tried to change rooms. I tried to contact the hotel from Norway, but got no response after several e-mails. The clients reported that the reception is... More

We stayed in the Rochester for 3 nights on our first venture to Buenos Aires. The hotel is very nice, with clean rooms and good bathrooms. As well as this, it was very reasonably priced as we got a good offer online. The Rochester is a nice hotel if you planning a short stay and know where you are going... More

An ideal location in the middle of Buenos Aires- Walking Distance to the shopping areas and Museums. The service was generally good. Courteous Staff. Rooms were clean and breakfast was good. Rooms on the sixth floor are very quiet. International calls are not costly and are freely available.

the only thing i didn't appreciate were the situation of the room, looking on a wall which didn't permet us to see how the weather was, and the bath room, restored but anyway not so pleasant. However everything was clean and staff very friendly and helpfull.
