Good location - close to shops and restaurants within this busy area of Central Buenos Aries. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms and linen fresh and clean, clean and beds comfortable. Currently (March 2014) some major road resurfacing outside - obviously not the fault of the hotel. However, there was no pre-notification of this. Buffet breakfast was a very good... More

The hotel grounds (corridor, main lobby, elevator and breakfast area) were horrible! Old, worn out and dirty. Breakfast was served in a dark place with dirty table cloth and limited sitting, so on some days we actually had to wait till some people finish! Breakfast didn´t amaze me at all. During our stay (3 nights) staff was unfriendly and arrogant... More

The first impression was totally awesome, the room was a little dirty. I probably too big guy because when I entered the room I could not even turn around. The bathroom was already devastated that I was afraid to enter. When I complained to the reception room so I exchanged it immediately for superior, therefore, nothing special but it was... More

I stayed here between Jan 2 and Jan 8 2014. We were in town for a wedding, and this was the hotel that the bride picked for all those attending from out of town. She is from Buenos Aires, so we came in with high expectations for the hotel. This place lived up to all of our expectations. The lobby... More

On a recent motorhome trip of Argentina this hotel was our base in Buenos Aires and we visited on three separate occasions and stayed in three types of room. The hotel has a restaurant and although we never used it we understand that the fixed three course dinner is good value. We went to the restaurant over the road that... More

Arriving at the Regente Palace, our immediate impression was not favourable. The front lobby was dark and uninviting; and we waited patiently to check in whilst the reception staff ignored us. Our standard room was the worst room that I have stayed in anywhere in the world. At best, it was a two and a half star rating. The room... More

The hotel is a 4 star hotel and as one would expect our room number 301 reflected the 4 star rating. The rooms are airconditioned. The TV was perfectly positioned on the wall for viewing from the bed and the screen was a large flat screen HD. The room was located to the rear and there was no traffic noise what... More

Had stayed in this hotel about ten years ago before the tourism book in BA. It was advertised as renovated with executive and superior rooms available so decided to pay up and get the superior room. The renovation appears to have been limited to the hallways and the linens. Superior apparently meant that it was on a top floor of... More

I stayed 1 night, by my-self, in a standard room. Good bed. Good shower. Quick check-in and check-out. Well located in downtown Buenos Aires. I woudn't go with my wife to spend a weekend or for vacations in Buenos Aires.
