I went by myself and speak little spanish. However the hotel staff especially Lina was so helpful. they would call a taxi for me and would explain the dirver where i wanted to go and tell the driver that i do not speak spanish. The hotel is located in downtown area. so everything is close by. Avenue de julio is... More

- Filthy, they really dont care about room cleansing - The elevator is the size of a fridge. Only two people with suitcases can squeeze inside Really, I dont recomend this hotel to anyone. We just stayed one night waiting for a Buquebus ship to uruguay. We slept with our own clothes on. It is really the worst hotel I... More

DO NOT EVER USE.We were booked in here by a 'round the world trip company in Kensington, London, as the first night of a 3 month round the world trip. We were gobsmacked. If this was the standard we had to endure for the rest of our holiday I wanted to go back home. It was filthy, dirty hairs on... More

Actually, I did not stay here in May 2011. I stayed at this hotel in 1996. But, they won't let me post a review from a stay 15 years ago. Judging by the recent reviews, it sounds like they've made some improvements in the past 15 years. I will be in Buenos Aires in September and looked up this hotel... More

This hotel shouldn't be marketed by any serious operator. leaking faucets, burned light bulbs, wall to wall carpet with long time stains, mold in bathroom tiles, mold odor in the room. It was worse than terrible!!! Hotel operators should visit this hotel to show the example of a place that should never been sold due to the lack of clean... More

We had filthy carpets, curtains that did not go across the window and were half hanging off, bed sheets that were grey, torn and so thin you could see through them plus black hairs on them. Were not clean. The fridge had years of ice on it and was dirty. The blind in the 'kitchen was broken and dirty. The... More

After an 18hr flight all we wanted was a hot shower. We left the water running for at least five minutes before calling downstairs asking about the hot water. They told us the building is old and takes at least 10 minutes to heat. We waited another 15 minutes....still NO hot water. We met some nice people three levels below... More

The price indicated in tripadvisor was not the good ones (paid more than double). The room was awfull, so small that the bed was barely fitted on it with beautifull view from the window to the wall in front 2 meters far, and the noise of everybody having noisy activities around. Definitely the worse place we ever had! DON'T GO!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot rate the rooms on this so-called "apart hotel" for I was not given the opportunity to see them, less stay in them. Furthermore, judging from the lobby appearance, it might have been a blessing in disguise. But let us start at the beginning, shall we? I had to fly to fly to Buenos Aires on personal business, at...
