The hotel is very well located, walking distance to Puerto Madero and dowtown. A very good option for those ho have to work or for leisure. Services are basic but it's enough for this kind of hotel. Good breakfast, good attention from front desk, good sleeping rooms, good cleanness. My only restrictions is for the shower, not a good one.

Staff on the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a decent size and comfortable enough. One or two things were kind of annoying though. My room faced directly onto an apartment building across the narrow street behind the hotel. This should not be a problem, except that my room had only thick curtains. This meant that... More

great bars and restaurants in staggering distance from the hotel. the staff were particularly helpful even if the rooms could do with minor refreshing. the power plugs for example were slightly dodgy. I particularly appreciated the no frills bar on the first floor. great value for money.

Great location as Just a few minutes walk to downtown to the pedestrian area or Puerto Madero. Good experience even if its on a main road, the noise didn't seem to get to the rooms on the 7th floor. Breakfast was nice on the first floor overlooking the reception area and a good choice to start the day. Staff helpful... More

My stay was very nice. I check in really late and the staff was very fast to get me a room to sleep. The location is very good, near Puerto Madero and Airport. The room was very clean and the bed was very good. Wi-fi works but not it's not good.

This hotel is very comfortable offering clean rooms, well appointed, along with very friendly service. This hotel is reasonably priced and offers a very nice morning breakfast, included in the room rate. This hotel is a short walk to many attractions, restaurants and is around the corner from the Galerias shopping mall.

The hotel is good, exactly like other Holiday Inn Express. The hotel personnel are serious and will care about you. Check in and check out can be slow in rush ours - usually at most 2 employees at front desk. And no express checkout, so make sure you have time before missing your flight... In general you will hear noise... More

Talk about quality service! We stayed at this hotel on the advice of our travel agent as we were returning from Antarctica and he said that often Ushuala, our airport point of departure from the National Geographic/Linblad ship could often be delayed to due weather. The good news is that it was not. The even better news is that we... More

No bottled water in the rooms. Was put on hold 10 minutes evening of check in... I hung up. Microwave oven in room doesn't work. Only decaf coffee with in room coffee maker. No English TV... not even CNN. 4 cardio machines in "gym" with a dinky sauna that doesn't work. Hoped to knock out my cold in the sauna.... More

We required an overnight transit stopover in Buenos Aires, and the Holiday Inn Express at Puerto Madero turned out to be an excellent choice. A very warm and friendly welcome when we arrived and the room was clean and comfortable. A basic but reasonable breakfast is included in the room cost, but no restaurant on the premises. A self serve... More

Staying in San Nicolas

Neighborhood Profile
San Nicolas
Immersed in the sound of honking horns and the footsteps of busy office workers, the Microcentro area of San Nicolás is where visitors will encounter the true hustle and bustle of Buenos Aires, walking down streets lined with office buildings and banks. The financial district is well-known for its vibrant atmosphere and unstoppable rhythm during office hours. After dark, the hubbub migrates to Corrientes Ave., where theater lovers might start their evening at a play and end it in one of the many traditional pizzerias nearby. During the day, Corrientes is known for its many bookshops and classic cafés, which are located just minutes away from some famous landmarks, like the Obelisco, Avenida 9 de Julio, and the Teatro Colon.
