Many large cities need to be walked to be discovered and Loi Suites are perfectly positioned either to be walked or take short taxi rides to most interesting locations. The rooms are not large and the views are not spectacular but the people are friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts are more than adequate with... More

Tea times and buffet breakfasts are secial treats. Search for specials from the Hotel. Perfect pastry from oustanding own bakery. Reasonable prices and relaxing atmosphere. Check for discounts such as Galicia Éminent or Lectores La Nación.

Although I've visited the Recoleta area on many other occasions, I had never stayed there. Loi Suites was a very pleasant surprise for not being a recognizable chain hotel; it's location cannot be beat, it's steps away from the famous Recoleta Cemetery, there are many restaurants and coffee shops around and you can walk to many other areas within the... Clean, modern, quiet and excellent service. My family visited us and stayed there too. For at least 2 weeks at a time. We were never unhappy with the hotel, and they even went out of their way to do small favors for a family member who was not feeling well. The rooms are spotlessly clean, the hotel is modern but... Truly top notch accommodations and service. The room was comfortable, spotless, well appointed. Breakfast buffet, included, was superb. The front desk even went above and beyond when my flight was cancelled and I had to extend my stay unexpectedly. If I ever get the chance to return to Buenos Aires, I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed 5 nights in June. One of the smaller rooms overlooking rear of the hotel. Everything in the room worked well, bed was extremely comfortable. Some noise from school next door but only during school time. Internet speeds were terrible by international standards. Staff without exception were polite, helpful. Excellent breakfast.

This hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location. The staff in the lobby is very friendly and the bar staff is super! Great atmosphere. Felt at home. Breakfast quite good. Free wi fi in the lobby.

The Lou Suites in Recoleta is located around the corner from the famous Recoleta cemetery where Eva Peron is interred. It's very clean, the staff is helpful and it's very reasonably priced. Their "fitness center" could use some work but otherwise no complaints.

The hotel is one block from the Recoleta Cemetery, a unique place inside the city. It is also a block from Junin street where sidewalk cafes are located. Great service at the hotel, with very courteous staff. The concierge will help you book a Tango Show, giving you options based on your taste and budget. The breakfast is included in... More

I stayed here for 10 days and it was a great choice. It's location is perfect as it's right next door to the cemetery, shops, restaurants, the grocery store etc. They speak English which is helpful and everyone is very friendly. The pool is nice and if you go swimming at dinner time you'll get your very own live music... More

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
