Malabia is a phenomenal boutique hotel located in one of the best areas of Buenos Aireas - close to cafe, restaurants, bars/nightlife, stores and in a great walking part of the city. The hotel is beautiful. The best part is the staff that works there. Everyone was awesome and always looking for ways to help you. The rooms were small... More

How happy we are that we found this lovely place in the middle of the trendy Palermo neighbourhood! Rooms are big tastefully decorated. Breakfast is very good and a nice way to meet other guests. Pablo, Guillermina and all other staff go out of their way to make you feel at home. They were most helpful to recover the bag... More

This hotel is a lovely converted convent, which makes it a more interesting alternative to a standard hotel - it has a great, quirky feel! The staff were also wonderfully helpful during our stay - booking us tango tickets; phoning around to find us the cheapest prices for football tickets; and giving us useful advice for our stay in Palermo... While it's a huge cliche the title says it all. We arrived in the morning and our rooms were ready immediately. We received lots of information about Buenos Aires and particularly the great Palermo neighborhood that the hotel is in. The location is perfect when visiting BA. Lots of shops and great restaurants. The owners really try to do everything... More

Hotel is in a colonial and authentic house that will give you the real BA feeling. Rooms a big and the lobby feels like home. Location is good and close to some nice shops and restaurants. Service is good and they can help you with some excursions e.g. soccer trips to local clubs.

It looks pretty unassuming from the street, but step inside to a quaint boutique with many pocket-sized courtyards, high ceilings, bright and simple decor and lots of light. Beds are pretty comfortable (although pillows could be improved). The staff is very friendly, helpful, and for the most part bilingual (Spanish/English). Breakfast is a basic spread of breads and pastries, coffee,... More

We had two stays at this former convent, now a stylish boutique hotel in Palermo. Our first stay was about a week long. The room was on the ground floor across the hall from an atrium. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, and a comfortable bed. There was plenty of storage space, drawers, closet, and shelves to unpack. The... More

What a cute, clean and cosy place in the middle of a great neighborhood of Palermo Soho at a very affordable price. Loved every minute of it there. Staying in Palermo

Neighborhood Profile
Palermo
Best known as the largest neighborhood in Buenos Aires, Palermo is divided into different quarters, each with its own unique identity. The high-end quarter is Palermo Chico, characterized by magnificent mansions, regal avenues, and exclusive apartment buildings, and home to the Museum of Latin American Art of Buenos Aires (MALBA), a favorite amongst locals. The largest park in the city, the Bosques de Palermo, is Palermo's most famous landmark and a popular destination for nature walks, picnics, rollerblading, and cycling. The scene becomes much trendier in Palermo Soho, a hip area known for its cool cafés and unique design stores, filled with shoppers on weekends; and Palermo Hollywood, renowned for the numerous restaurants, bars and nightclubs, which make it the preferred spot for nights out and special occasions.
