We stayed here in July 2009 for 2 weeks. Location was great, staff was really nice, breakfast was really good and my kids loved the pool, we were nearly the only ones using it. We had a family room, large room connected to a small one with 2 tvs and a bathroom. Its old style, and lovely at the same... More

I stayed at this hotel after reading some good evaluation from the internet and viewing nice pictures of the inside. But it was disappointing for me and my roommate. Although the apartments were very good size and clean, the furniture and carpet in my unit looked very tired and asking for urgent refurbishing. Bed and linens were good and comfortable,... More

The Hotel is nice old style and most of all the breakfast is very good. The only drawback is that if you have a room facing the main street it might be very noisy during night. So when you book ask a room on the back. I have tried them both. ps it is not worth to go for the... More

Great location in Buenos Aires close to a bunch of restaurants, shopping, bus lines, etc. Desk staff was super nice. Definitely does need to be remodeled, but it's fine if you're not staying in your room all day. Our A/C unit was pretty weak, and couldn't even keep up when it was only about 85 F outside. Also the bakery... More

After staying at the Waldorf as part of an organized tour, my travelmate and I checked in the Posta Carretas. This is quite a gem - it is very well located between two major streets. Everything interesting is within walking distance. Quite a lot of restaurants and small groceries around. Despite being so centrally located, the room was reasonably quiet,... More

My friend and I stayed here from Dec 8 through Dec 11 and enjoyed it very much. As the other reviewers will say it is a bit outdated but still loaded with charm. We had a room on the street on the 6th floor and had no problem with the noise. The a/c works albiet it is old so not... More

Excellent location on Esmeralda. We had a junior suite which was spacious. Only problem the air conditioning - it did not work. in the end we slept in another room which was fine as we did not want the hassle of having to pack and uppack our cases again. Buffet breakfast with excellent cakes. Staff very helpful - made bookings... More

GOOD: Staff is friendly and helpful; smallest room has a queen bed and is ideal for one person; other rooms appeared to have separate sitting room; bathroom is adequate; shower has good hot water pressure; substantial breakfast is included (hot dishes cooked as required); swimming pool in basement. Located 2 streets from Florida Mall near Cordoba Ave is a good... More

This hotel was great for someone in a wheel chair and their family. We slept in room 402 and it was the largest in Buenos Aires. The staff were so nice and helpful. My son loved the heated pool.Overall it was a great stay, with many parillas near by and laundries to do your clothes. So central to Florida and... More
