The room was very clean, but very old towels, sink, at night there wasn't hot water, almost cold, little water for a shower. In a central location, what was good. Hotel needs a remodeling. Would not go back. Service just ok, not really friebdly, wireless avaiable. The good point was cleaness.

stayed for 3 weeks and had a great time here, within walking distance of everything, very clean, modern rooms with nice views of the avenida 9 de julio, and a very nice and attentive staff. I was very satisfied with my stay in this hotel.

We only had a 24 hour stop over in buenos aires so chose this hotel for the location. It is well placed in the centre and even though our room overlooked the main avenue the noise was not a problem. Room was modern and clean and served all basic requirements. Breakfast was basic but very good. Would recommend for a... More

First of all, we chose this hotel based on its quite good reviews, secondly for the location that was mentioned in previous reviews too. It was also very friendly for our pocket. So this hotel is absolutely centrally located close to many landmarks of BuenosAires. It was also very important for us that this hotel was immaculately clean and safe... More

We were looking for a good hotel within a small budget for a one night stay at the city and we couldn't have chosen a better option. The hotel is centrally located and reachable from almost any place of the city, it's really close to the Obelisco, Plaza de Mayo and the Congress, you can walk to a lot of... More

The hotel is located on beautiful and lively avenue in the heart of Buenos Aires. We were a group of friends there and we booked two standard rooms which were comfortable and clean with a large selection of tv channels and free WI-FI and mini bar. Also we got a good price for the rooms at booking. We had a... More

First of all, checking in was relaxed and friendly. The location is excellent, you can get anywhere from here quickly by foot to attractions, shops etc. The staff members are helpful, pleasant, fun to talk with, and are happy to take care of whatever you need. The room was clean, not too large, but plenty big enough to work well for... More

We chose this small and nice hotel for its location. Just in the heart of Buenos Aires with walking distance to attractions, shops and restaurants. We had a nice and clean room looking over Buenos Aires maine avenue. I found the multi-lingual staff very friendly and serviceminded. If you are looking for a city hotel I would recommend this intimate... More

We have been in Buenos Aires several times before and were tip'd about the Imperial Park by a business aquaintance who recommended it. We spent a week at the hotel for a combined business & vacation trip. Convenient (excellent) location, really easy to get around B.A., and the reception staff (who command multiple languages) were most helpful with tips &... More

This hotel has what seems to be an organized ring between the reception staff and the housekeepers. Each time we left the hotel the reception staff would phone housekeeping who would then break into the room and steal things. They stole money FROM THE SAFE, bijou jewelry, clothing, make-up and some of my Clinique products as well. We also picked... More

Staying in Montserrat

Neighborhood Profile
Montserrat
As part of the historic quarter of Buenos Aires, Montserrat is defined by the historical events that took place there and the landmarks that have stood the test of time. The Plaza de Mayo is at the center of this connection to history: countless public demonstrations have passed through this square, going back to the May Revolution of 1810. Walking the streets of Montserrat allows us to imagine what Buenos Aires may have looked like in the past: the Cabildo takes us back to the late 16th century, while the Palacio Barolo and the traditional cafés carry us to the early 20th. Nowadays, the neighborhood is inundated every day by office workers, buses, and taxis; still, the cobblestones, narrow sidewalks, and subway stations from the 1910s remind us that we are surrounded by history everywhere we look.
