Good location, good breakfast, nice beds, clean enough. Good deal with dollar exchange at the reception when booking some shows or attractions. Friendly staff. Around the hotel is walking distance to everywhere ;)

A little bit crowdy for breakfast, but the staff is very very nice and helpfull. My 6th time at this hotel. Very central. Close to or walkable distance from most of the things to see and do in Buenos Aires.

Good location near Santa Fe Avenue, Good room and service. I ordered room service for dinner and it was fine. Breakfast was ok. I recommend this hotel for business trip. Internet service at the lobby was slow.

Do not expect to find a modern hotel. However, it has all the acommadations you need to have a pleaseant stay. You will find the elevator to be outdated and a bit small. The bathroom door at my bedroom did not close entirely which was not a big deal for mea but part of the details mentioned before. The breakfast... More

There is really nothing wrong with this hotel, but there is really nothing special about it. Location is okay without being outstanding. Located on a narrow one way street. The hotel as a whole needs some serious remodeling. The rooms are remodeled, at least the one I had. The rooms are tiny. Really tiny. Paid more for the superior instead... More

Stayed here on two separate occasions in early April. The first stay I was given a refurbished room which was nice. The second stay I was given a twin room which had not been refurbished and it definitely felt more down at heel. However, rooms aside, service was great. I was able to change euros and dollars at reception at... More

Lovely location and public areas very modern and attractive. However our room very tired and in need of updating. Bed clean but room not. Lots of dust under bed and in air con griille. Upside restaurant and breakfast meals excellent and cocktails in bar best ever tasted. We stayed pre cruise for 3 nights. Friendly and English speaking reception staff.

We stayed four nights in January 2015. The free breakfast buffet each morning included a selection of scrambled eggs with sides of ham and delicious sauteed potatoes, a wide selection of pastry and baked breads, fresh fruit assortment, fresh-squeezed orange juice, cereal, yogurt, and good quality coffee. Eating out in Buenos Aires is both time-consuming and expensive, so given the... More

We arrived at the hotel at 9:30am in the morning after our earlybird flight, instead of telling us 'you must wait till 2:00pm for the check in', the receptionist gave us the keys to our hotel room right away. Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
