This hotel is mediocre, the elevator carries only 3 people at a time. The rooms are small and not attractive. When I was checking out, they tried to charge me a lot for phone calls I never made, especially since I was using the pay as you go phone card. The highlight was the travel agent service they had through... More

The building is a little old but the rooms and lobby area are well kept and/or renovated. No complaints in the cleanliness of the rooms. Good location, close to Santa Fe Av., subway station ("subte") and within walking distance to main attractions in downtown BA (one to two miles). Not a luxury place. Continental breakfast, plain and simple but OK... More

Very well located hotel for a short business trip (2-4 days is perfect). Very near the main part of Recoleta, with nice bars and restaurants, as well as it´s kind of near Puerto Madero too. Excellent breakfast and also you got a gym on the upper floor. You have an empty fridge, that you fill it with water, soft drinks,... More

While the room was quiet and the bed was comfortable, the room didn't look at all like the photos. The professional photos show fresh fruit. There was no fresh fruit, only all types of canned fruits served on huge bowls. Also, the rooms and bathrooms look much nicer on the photos. Don't expect body lotion nor a box of tissues.... More

Our room was burglarized while we were out having dinner and watching a tango show. There were only two people at the front desk. I reported the incident to them but they did not help us at all. They had an attitude of "oh well, too bad it happened. Move on!" They would not call the the police because they... More

Our guests choose us once and again because they feel comfortable and safe. It is our priority taking care of our guests; this has always and will be our mission. It hurts finding a person that spends time trying to hurt not only a hotel but a team who strives and sacrifice every day to give the best. More

Very conveniently located hotel in the heart of Recoleta. Slightly dated but comfortable and a courteous staff. A good value for the price. Good breakfast daily and good exchange rates for the local currency. Would stay there again.

Staying in Recoleta

Neighborhood Profile
Recoleta
Characterized by the French-style mansions which are the legacy of its aristocratic past, Recoleta is the true “Paris of the South.” Walking around this neighborhood is an experience like no other in Buenos Aires: its streets are lined with elegant apartment buildings, exclusive boutiques, and former mansions turned into high-end hotels and embassies, which exude an alluring air of sophistication and class. You'll also find a rich cultural scene centered on the National Museum of Fine Arts, the National Library, and the Recoleta Cultural Center; as well as some great shopping spots, like the Buenos Aires Design Mall with an artists' fair set up in Plaza Francia every weekend.
