The hotel is nice in an excellent location. Our room was large and ell equipped but it was at the back of the building and very close to the electricity generator which was working 3 out of the 4 days we were there. They charge extra for the wi-fi and it's patchy and slow. Staff at the cafeteria is not... More

A classic hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, many of which were built for FIFA's World Cup 1978. This one used to be an hospital before the hotel was born. Clean but unfortunately with a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom, not only in my room but also at my peer's room. My main complaint was night temperature of my... More

I loved this hotel. It is very clean, centrally located and inexpensive. The breakfast was included and surprisingly good. The next time I come to Argentina I will use this as home base and go all over the country. My only complaint is the charge for WiFi.

Very good location not very far from Recoleta. The hotel style is simple but modern. Room was clean. There are also restaurants and shopping nearby, as well as a very nice park. Good breakfast in European style.

Over the course of three weeks, I stayed here several times. Rooms are clean, modern and well-appointed. Staff is helpful...a bit "distant", perhaps, but that's to be expected in a large city. Recoleta location is convenient. My only complaint is the charge (modest) for Wi-Fi.

We actually stayed at the Bel Air three times over the course of a two week visit to Argentina. When we made side trips from Buenos Aires up to Puerto Iguazu or over to Uruguay, this is the place to which we came back. The Bel Air thus became our home base for the entire trip, and we came to... We've always enjoyed and relished the idea of staying at this quaint hotel placed in an elegant neighbourhood, a few metres away from Vicente Lopez Square. However, this time we were appalled to encounter several problems: at night the restaurant did not work, there was only a receptionist at the front desk who did her best to solve our problems.... We really liked the area -Recoleta- in which this hotel is located. Not as glitzy as Al Centro but safe, has good shopping, good "local" restaurants, and walking distance to attractions like Recoleta cemetery and Teatro Colon. The hotel is basic, but clean and quiet with helpful staff and a reasonable breakfast. They stored extra luggage for us while we... More

It is difficult not to recommend this hotel because it is well located in Recoletta, our room was very adequate, the breakfast quite acceptable and near well-known attractions. The price was reasonable. Except for a young man named Nicolas, who went out of his way to be friendly and helpful, the rest of the staff was aloof. They do not... More

The hotel has had a recent update and our room was very nice, modern with a large bath. The breakfast buffet was good but the area is small and the staff servicing the buffet not friendly. We had a hard time connecting to the wifi which is an additonal charge. Location was very good and felt safe walking around the... More
