Oddly, my local family living in BA recommended this as a good basic hotel. Basic is right. It's a good albeit loud part of town. But rooms are aged, linens are threadbare, and overall it a value. Would not return.

Let me start by saying we have stayed all over the world in many different hotels from bargain to luxury. This is the second worst place we have ever stayed. We were not treated badly. This is just an honest assessment of the facility. First, it is right at the obelisk so the location is good especially if you have... More

Everything was more than ok here. Customer service is really well prepared for foreigner travelers. The breakfast has a great variety and options. It location is super convinient, close to the mayor buenos aires streets like Corrientes and Calle Florida.

We spent 4 nights and we found a nice hotel, however It has no service elevator, so when you take a lift you share with staff. Few details: old fashion style, perforated curtains, stained carpet, poor bathroom accesories, vanquished mattresses, poor breakfast. Is a good hotel for passing through.

The hotel and rooms are ok and have ample. I've stayed in single timeshare units that were smaller than this. The furnishings are dated, and linens and bedclothes need refreshing. Staff has been very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. There is a Starbucks across the street if you need your fix like we do.

We stayed 3 nights, we were 7 friends in 2 bedrooms. It was clean, the rooms were big and they had kind of a kitchen, the beds were big and comfortable, but mine was a small trundle bed and the mattress was tight. The breakfast is nice and the location is very convenient.

The hotel itself was OK. The rooms were OK. The location is great. But... On arrival, at 2:00 am, the reception demanded payment in cash (even though we had booked 9 days and supplied my credit-card). Luckily I was warned for this. The reason they do this is: Customers arriving late usually come from the airport and have only U$,... More

The hotel is OK. Location OK. Services OK. But... We (the wife and I) had a 9 day reservation, guaranteed by my credit-card, and after 2 nights they wanted us to leave because there was an other reservation for the room. I simply told them that i had a written reservation for 9 days and we would not leave. (And... More

This is a tourist-class hotel for locals. US travelers used to, say, the Hampton Inn standard, would not appreciate this not fresh, not appealing place. An unsmiling staff does not help. Location is terrible: it IS next to the Obelisco where the street demonstrations rally but the area is like the old grungy Times Square. We also heard not safe.
