We just got back from our week's stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful, courteous and responsive. The location fit our needs perfectly. Two small blocks from the San Martin Plaza and subway, across the street from a grocery store and in the middle of the locations that we wanted to explore. The room was large, bathroom good... More

Our 9th floor room had been redone fairly recently. The decor was simple but elegant. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the A/C worked well. The wifi worked well too. We liked the location of Feirs Park. We walked to the downtown for dinner and home and felt safe. It was an easy walk to Recoleta. The subway... More

The Hotel is clean and well situated and the staff is relatively friendly. However, is it a four star Hotel? The Business Center looks more like a messy office and the bar is not a place to like. The food is ok, but knowing the Argentinian standards and the offerings in the neighbourhood not a highlight.

1- its location is close to downtown where you can walk to most of places, and close also to the subway and bus station, and it is surrounded with governmental building so it's safe even at night :) 2- Staff is friendly, good English and very helpful.

Rooms needs a little update, but in good location. Staff is kind and helpfull. We stayed in room 308. It has a conference room above this room. On sunday until 24:00 there was a conference or some like that. You could constantly here the moving of chairs on the marble floor. That was annoying.

Initially got a room in the lower floor towards the basics know of the hotel. Lots of noise from big A/C units outside and balcony door wouldn't close properly. Got changed to a higher floor, same type of room but was renovated so it was a big improvement. Very basic breakfast. Small supermarket right in front. Couple of good restaurants... More

On Friday the 20th of March my wife and I stayed at the Feirs Park Hotel in one of the Presidential suites on the 13th floor. I highly recomend you visit this hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean and tidy. The decor will appeal to anyone who is not looking for modern frills but appreciates the days when... More

The hotel was exceptionally crowded at breakfast which meant that there were insufficient tables available, the food lacked quality and choice. The bedroom was very noisy, we could hear people using the bathroom next door. However the hotel is central and very convenient for the station. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Good w-ifi signal.

Stayed at this hotel for a few days before a cruise around South America. Hotel in a good position, rooms really large with dining table and chairs. Very handy if you have travelled a long way and want to have room service instead of dining in the restaurant. Very good breakfasts. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Only one complaint,... Quirky hotel with spacious rooms and helpful, pleasant staff. Decor is a little dated but beds are large / comfortable and surroundings quiet. Location excellent - close to restaurants / shopping areas and within a few minutes of the Metro. Would stay again.

Staying in Retiro

Neighborhood Profile
Retiro
Exquisite palaces and luxurious apartment buildings combine with art galleries and exclusive boutiques to make Retiro the perfect spot for those who enjoy sophistication. However, the non-stop foot traffic to and from Retiro train and bus terminals, accompanied by the myriad of trucks leaving and arriving at the port, mean this neighborhood is never truly at rest. One minute you are walking down a street dotted with ornate mansions and luxurious shop windows and the next you find yourself surrounded by a sea of people racing to catch their train or bus. It is this juxtaposition of never-ending comings and goings and quiet, elegant luxury that defines Retiro, as well as Buenos Aires, a city where sharp contrasts are all around.
