Nice business hotel in a great location. We could walk to many restaurants and the Galerias Pacifico shopping center. Another mediocre meal at the hotel at the early hour of 7:30 pm. We were the only diners except families with young children. We could do without the tour group dinners in the hotels but I expect that having a dinner... More

Stayed four days for business. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The people are friendly and price is reasonable. I am disappointed that in this age they charge for internet access. I really had no issues and would consider coming back on a future trip since it has a very good location, walking distance from many restaurants and shopping areas.

Turist days in Buenos Aires are very demanding: so many things to do! The best way to end them should be a nice sleep and the best way to start them a great breakfast. You wont get any of those at this hotel. Reconquista is a downtown street turned partially to pedestrian. Huge bars have occupied the space on the... More

MY wife and I stayed here for a week in December 2013. Overall a good stay. Staff was very helpful, especially after we were robbed on the street (don't carry a wallet in Buenos Aires or a nice camera). The internet connection was the best of any hotel I have ever stayed in. Our only conmplaint was the air conditioning,... More

We found the location, the staff, the rooms and general ambience excellent. With the windows closed it was very quiet also which is remarkable for such a busy and "happening" street. There was a problem with the air-conditioning, which was not the hotel's fault. In very hot weather there are often general power cuts in Buenos Aires and we struck... More

I am a travel agent, and travel frequently. I think that Melia hotel is very well located with respect to tourist attractions, and restaurants. Front desk stuff is very friendly, and helpful - makes a big difference. Rooms could be improved by changing quality of the mattresses. Pillows are hard as rock, but soft pillows will be delivered upon request... More

The hotel's location has been already praised. Also, the neighorhood seems to be pretty safe. The busy bar life at night on the street does not really bother due to sound-proof windows. Staff is nice and responsive, rooms are large and comfortable and the whole place is well maintained. So it is a good choice when you get a favorable... More

The hotel is right on a quuasi-pedestriam zone with a busy bar / pub life (no worry, windows are sound-proof). It is in walking distance to Puerto Madero, Plaza de Mayo and various shopping centers and restaurants. Reception and other staff are friendly. Rooms are large and well kept. There is a small pool with spa and gym in the... More

Friendly staff, good breakfast, excellent rooms and the location in the city center - what else could you excpect? ...well, maybe the outdoor swimming pool but the indoor pool with fitness center was ok as well.
